Great exhaust notes like that are sadly a forgotten art these days. The '71 Skyline, the '70' 510, the mid '80's Corolla Sprinter Trueno, etc., not to mention all the classic American muscle cars (The '70 Chevelle SS had a MONSTER exhaust note, as did the '70, '71, '72, and '73 Trans Am... And the '69 and '70 GTO were the stuff dreams are made of... When I was growing up, my mother drove a '70 LeMans Sport with a high-output 350 and a Muncie/Hurst 3-on-the-floor... You really miss things like that when they're gone... The '70 Challenger with ANY of the good V8's, the '68 and '69 Charger R/T, the GTX, etc... I miss all that stuff).
Looks like a lot of fun. He really hustled that thing around Fuji. Just shows it doesn't take a lot of power to run a good lap-time, and the exhaust note is awesome.
There were many Japanese cars with great exhaust notes like that (The modern Skyline R34 and R35 owes A LOT to those old Nissan motors from the late '60's and early '70's).. The old Datsun 240Z had the same wonderful sound, although it was basically the same motor. The '70 510 was different, but I've seen a lot of guys swap in a motor from a 240Z (I like that little 510 motor though... I think it was a 1.5 liter... Its like the '70 Celica, another great-sounding little car... And the early RX's from the '70's with that distinct sound... Love that stuff).
all of this 10-15 year i just underestimated japanese car engineering compare to german, and italy...but after see this,..my opinion change....they done a great job since long time ago and very respectable

I cried when I saw this. An epic track with an epic car. As the announcer said the exhaust note speaks for itself.

The Nissan S20 inline six engine is a gem.
Newer GTRs should pay respect to this car. Legendary...

And here I thought a Formula Atlantic 4AGE was the most beautiful sound on earth.......I was mistaken.

I wanna take one of them on goodwood see how it will do vs the V8s of american made cars
take that muscle car lovers, who said displacement is indicative of how fast your car is
Lol 130mph isn’t that fast. It’s an awesome car but it’s not that fast. Tune a dart or nova that much and you’d have a much faster car and lap time.
@azn069 i'm not sure... i don't have an xbox...
@isanub now we're two
@carlmanu now we're three
I want to buy one WHERE CAN I FIND ONE
