- Word is coming out that Ubisoft is using free trips and experiences as a way of buttering up CZcamsrs to get good reviews of their upcoming Star Wars Outlaws game. This tactic is often used by Disney and is likely where the massive marketing expenditure that the CEO of Ubisoft discussed is going to.

Nothing screams more "inclusive" than SILENCING things you don't like/disagree with.
Anything "inclusive" will be excluding something. In Ubisoft case, they excluded the quality of their games thus excluding the marketability of their products.
entertainment is about escaping reality. Pushing agendas into it is a problem and SHOULD be excluded.

The ugly character is the least of the games problems, outdated graphics, empty open world, systems and mechanics that been done a 100 times over without any twist added to make it the games own, live service and "you don't even own the game!".
I don't even get to the point where I bother to look at the main character, i've already lost my interest way before that.

Also remember that Ubisoft force gamers who buy their games on steam to be directly routed to the Ubisoft launcher instead of just starting the game from steam. It's silly and anti-consumer. Do not support them at all.
Not only that, but I’ve had three different games where ubislop says I don’t own it. Thank God for Steam I got a refund every time.
The best thing that could happen to the gaming industry is for all the big corporations to go bankrupt and sell their IP to actual video game developers.

I still remember when video games took years to make and that when it was ready for sell it would be complete and ready to go. But now they do not even do that or they can't do to activists that they hire that are more worried about DEI checkboxes than selling a good product.

The contract to preview the Ubislop SW game required positive coverage. You couldn't even play the game unless you agreed to give it glowing praise.
Whenever reviews are being blocked or deleted, you know the game/movie/show is bad!
there's nothing ubislop can do to make the game sell well, investors will pull their funding of the company, Disney will end the contract they have with ubislop and ubislop will have to pay back the money Disney paid for the contract and ubislop will end up being forced to sell everything and go out of business permanently, as thst should

In Euronext Paris trading, Ubisoft closed at €17.05/share as I am writing this today. Yesterday it fell to as low as €16.34/share. This is lowest stock price in nine years. In July 2018 it was briefly over €105/share. That is a fall of 84% from its all-time peak.
Ubisoft is so desperate that it has to bribe influencers to praise their unpolished Star Wars Outlaws game. Don't forget about Assassin's Creed Shadows as well, which is another expected commercial failure for Ubisoft.

If an "influencer" or "critic" lies to the public to please corporations that have wined and dined them, the audience will eventually abandon their channels. If a game is just bad, the public will figure that out. The "influencers" and "critics" who tell them that a lousy game is exciting and terrific will lose public confidence. That is a heavy price to pay for free merch, free flights, free meals, and paid for hotel rooms.

2. Encourage other CZcams personalities and their fanbases to join us.
3. Come together as a 45,000+ conglomeration of angry space pirates/bull market investors.
4. Vote for Dr. Disaster as our representative.
5. Demand an end to woke, DEI, Bridge, identity politics, broken games, and all other predatory practices, full stop.
If we pulled it off we could hold immense sway over the entire company. We could quite literally punish them for bad behavior and that thought puts a smile on my face. I'm down for whatever.

Let's imagine they patch game to be ok and playable. But with their new policy, Ubi can remove game from their library (and user's possesion ) when "new DEI" shit hit the fan.
The stock prices don't really seem to plummet. When comparing them to the last couple of years they are just following a downwards trend that has been going for a while now. One could wish that their latest games would have a drastic negative impact but it doesn't really seem to be the case.
