It’s either Jonathan or Dustin screaming IMO. I read that a lot of the grouping for season 5 will be similar to the way it was in season 1. So it would make sense if it’s Jonathan yelling for Steve to run because they went together to save Nancy (who could be the missing wheeler) in the upside down. It could also be Dustin for obvious reasons too, since the Steve/Dustin duo has been prominent since season 2. Remember when Dustin told Steve in season 3 that “if you die, I die”. I think that little funny interaction from season 3 will have huge ramifications for season 5. So if Steve is dying, then Dustin probably will too unfortunately.
And I can also see the spit particles flying into space… in a serious matter, the ‘you need to run’part and the scream really sounded like Dustin🤓👆

Omg yeah, also since Will has had recent connections in the past. That makes me think tho, why him? Maybe Vecna saw him and thought he was the perfect chosen one, a small shy boy is just what he needs.

I think the voice is Will. The "Runnnnn" scream sounds very similar (although obviously deeper with age) to Will's possessed screams in season 2. I think Will is going to have the power to go into the void like El, and in that scene I think he's spying on Steve and sees him in danger. Then he tries in vain to warn him to run but doesn't realize that Steve can't hear him in the void. Just my guess.

This is what I think: There are 2 Groups: A group that stays in the upside down and a group that stays in Hawkins. We know some of the Upside Down group consists of Dustin,Johnathon, Nancy, and I’m assuming Steve. The reason to believe this is because of the Pre-Vis video of Dustin,Johnathon, and Nancy in a car, which seems to be in the Upside down. In the leak you can see them all in a car with a pole in the middle. A paparazzi photo of stranger things shows Steve’s Car with antenna on the top, acting as some sort of signal. So this Proves that the pre-vis video of the Upside Down gang was of them in Steve’s car with a signal on top. So back to the Leaked video of someone telling Steve to run, it most likely wouldn’t have been Dustin because he is in the upside down with Steve. I’m assuming that Will is apart of the Hawkins gang that hasn’t went into the upside down for some unknown reason? (Maybe Because Vecna, trauma, or some connection issue) So my theory is that Will could be sensing something or feeling something since he has a connection with the upside and with Vecna, so Will is yelling at Steve to run by maybe using a signal with the antenna.

If you turn the volume up enough, the "You need to run" has a crack at the end in the voice, that sound too much like Will to be anyone else, though i could be wrong.🙃

No, the subtitles are actually sort of wrong. I can tell you what they’re saying and it’s not to Steve. I went through and scrubbed the audio a few times and even though some words are harder to hear because of vowels and consonants and the general bass and cadence of certain voices, but I figured out based on speech patterns and general diction what they’re actually saying and it’s not to Steve.
SPOILER:
At the very VERY beginning you DO hear Will. He’s talking in that same sort of low, choked up concern as he does when he says “you need to tell her, you’re the heart” What Will says is “she’s by herself” (the “by herself is VERY clear and almost certainly talking about Holly) then Dustin yells “Fuck! … MRS WHEELER, CAN YOU HEAR ME? YOU NEED TO RUN… RUUUUUUUUUUN!!”
I’m also pretty sure the second clip is just a different version or take of the same scene. Director is giving queues to someone this time “fuck/ ‘FUCK’”and then the director says “try throwing it” then we hear some tumbling and clunking sounds like something being dropped or thrown, then you hear that line again “You need to run… RUUUUN!” and then the director says “cut, that’s a take”
I THINK Karen is somehow in the upside down FINALLY as an active part of the gang, trying to save Holly which lines up with her video clip where Cara Buono says something like “we’re on set filming episode 2 and in this scene Karen gets to… *static*” (paraphrasing but essentially what she says). Again, it’s hard to hear but if you listen closely, you can hear it. Just make sure you listen IMMEDIATELY when you hear the ORIGINAL audio clips.
That would be insane if you’re right, either way I’m excited to see what happens.

@@plecothespino (flayed) Billy said "I'll fucking gut you" to Max during the sauna test in 3x4. And I think Will said it during his breakdown at Castle Byers in 3x3 but it's very hard to hear and not subtitled, so you wouldn't notice unless you were listening for it.

I could be really wrong but I do have a theory after a lot of other comment theories I read over the last few days and it does make sense.
I think the mind flayer will get in to Will again and he asked Steve to run before he gets attacked.

Steve and some of the team members entered the upside down and Will felt that something will happen so he asked Steve to run.

That change of voice in the audio of "STEVE YOU NEED TO RUNN" seems to be like vecna's getting over will slowly every word and he is asking Steve to run like how Billie in season 3 at the pool scene where he was locked in the furnace room with maxed heating and he cried to max saying "he made me do it'" then he suddenly gets to the vigorous form
Well it does make some quite not will screaming cause in all of the seasons of stranger things we have not seen will having a plentiful communication with Steve

I don't think the missing wheeler is Holly. There were those promo posters from season 4 that released Mrs wheeler and the Creel house for seemingly no reason. Plus her scenes all through season 4 felt weirdly foreboding despite never actually getting involved. I think she has a connection to Henry/ One/Vecna.

Man i mostly hear Dustin. It makes sense, hes Steve's best friend and watched eddie sacrifice himself. His death would hit the hardest but i think it is actually going to be Jonathan, sacrificing himself mainly for Will but also for Nancy who i think will end up wanting to be back with steve and his sacrifice being his blessing. All i know is that whoever screamed that RUN is winning awards and breaking hearts.
I think somebody was in the upside down and they heard somebody telling Steve to run for his life, but at the same life the real world and the upside down have collided so this isn’t that likely but it’s something

I don’t think that is Wills voice. Will doesn’t really hang out with Steve at all, and if it was really him, Mike or Jonathan would probably have been with him in that setting.
I think the voice at the beginning of the recording is will but the scream at the end sounds like Dustin, I don't think it'd be a reach to say there could be 3 characters in that kind of scene

Here’s my theory: what is Mike goes missing and throughout the episodes they try to find him 11 tries to find him, but fails and Steve, Nancy Robin Dustin Erica Lucus go to the upside down. Find him a little while this, and will kill vecna because he loves Mike very much
I personally think that they are gonna do groups like what they did in season 3 and Steve and will’s group got sent to the upside down to find holly or whoever is down there and maybe the mind flayer or vecna find them and will senses them and tells everyone to go for help but Steve tries to stay and help will fight but will tells him to run as Vecna is inching closer to where they are
1st of all it’s Dustin screaming. 2nd, I cannot wait to see what’s happening in that radio station and what Dustin is seeing when he’s telling Steve to run. We could get a Steve backstory like Chrissy’s.

Theory : Maybe it was Will screaming to Steve because Will was probably being controlled by Vecna , and Steve was probably like punch, and couldn't get up and then maybe Will was being controlled so that's why he scream like a murderous scream he was controlled and when I heard those videos on Tiktok the director said choke him , so probably that was Vecna choking him. So that is my theory.

Stranger Things: The First Shadow Confirms That The Mind Flayer Is The Real Antagonist on Stranger Things.
I saw a video with two audios in the clips displayed in this video it sounds like Dustin you can hear his voice plain and simple in the beginning then the scream if you compare that to dustins screams throughout the seasons. It's Dustin.
Then a second clip from the other video I watched, it sounded to me like Jonathan or Steve yelling RUN!! And the duffer brothers one of them
Yelling grab him by the throat so perhaps someone gets possessed and is grabbing one of the characters by the throat or something along those lines. Kind of like Will did to Joyce in season two episode 8.
It's might be Will as we haven't heard Noah voice in while. So it may be him, But to me it sounds far to much like Dustin.

Stranger Things: Without A Trace (2016) Update
Synopsis

Synopsis

Hawkins chief of police, Jim Hopper, disapproves of Eleven and Mike's budding relationship, while Joyce considers moving out of Hawkins for a better life for her children and herself, leaving the state of the children's friendships and her own relationship with Hopper in the air. Synopsis

Dustin has been too busy for his friends as he's helped found a new D&D club at Hawkins High, but little does he know the dark secrets the members hold. Eleven and Will have had a hard time adjusting to a new life, with their classmates being no help in the slightest. Things start to kick up again when Joyce and Murray find a secret message that changes what they previously thought happened during the Battle of Starcourt. At the same time, dark secrets reveal themselves in Hawkins that propels Dustin, Lucas, Max, Nancy, Steve, and Robin into a mystery that threatens to unravel Hawkins. It definitely sounds like Will to me, but it just doesn't make any sense if he's screaming the way he's screaming like that to Steve. They barely know each other and there's way too emotion in that scream like there's a close bond and he's afraid of losing that person. So if this is Steve who has to run, then the logical choice would be Dustin screaming. But if this is really Will screaming then the logical person he's begging to run would be more like his brother Jonathan.

This finale season better be a whopper after all the wait. At this point I almost don't care about the show and all the actors have aged way past where the timeline left off . And why did Linda Hamilton need to be added ?
