This song is so good that it transports you to a time that you never even lived
I was 12 years old, great time. wish I had a time machine
Absolutely right. This was many many years before I was born, but, my Mom loved them, & used to play their music on an old stereo when I was a little girl. Great stuff.
Yes!!!!! I was born in 1982
That goes for most of their songs
And to a time of lip syncing in music videos and on stage 😂🙄
This is a certified hood classic
Yep don’t okpoooop
I used to hang out with a convicted murderer and this was his favorite band. He shot a guy in the head with a revolver. 38 I think. He had been locked up a long time and was still jamming to this.
@@BrettonFerguson lol wtf
@@BrettonFerguson what a time to live
@@BrettonFerguson did your friend eat testicles too?
to think Frankie is 88 now and can still sing this spot on is just awesome!
More like he's still lip syncing this song.
I remember my dad playing this song in the car on the way to school in the AM. It was on a tape called "Cruising to the 60s!" I ❤️ this song bc it reminds me of good times. RIP Daddy 🙏🏾
That's so nice
Sorry you lost your Daddy. I lost Daddy's body, and soul, but I keep in MY mind all the "Good" Mom, my 2 siblings, and myself we had together. Daddy would buy a new car, and we'd take a vacarion every 4 years. Even afrer I was marrird, and then divorced 22 years later, in 1990, Mom, and Dad took my bother, son, and myself to Wisconson Dells, and "House On The Rocks" @ Spring Green Wis. Great trip, and many, many great memories. Hold on to yours JG. Claudia Heinowski
Your father must be 70
Awww sorry for the loss bro use that as motivation he’s looking down on you stay strong and keep that head high ❤
Golden Thanks for sharing
First concert I ever went to was in 1963 at the Loews Theatre in Providence, RI to see the Four Seasons live. Double dated with my HS sweetheart a another couple. Just the four of them on stage with and small electric piano. They were fantastic. They were my favorite group. They were able to hold off the Beatles for awhile.
Those were the days! Everything was in front of us all. America was at the height of it’s power. Jobs were plentiful. College was attainable for those kids who never dreamed they could go to college. Home ownership boomed. The GI Bill helped pay for college and getting a mortgage on your first home.
That year of 63 our world was shocked by the assignation of JFK. Then the debacle of our involvement in Vietnam, where I served as a US Marine. It has been a slow death ride for our country ever since. I am 77 now and have had a great life. Business success, great family but I worry that my grandchildren will never have the opportunities I had.
This once great country is done for.
There is something timeless and good about sixties music that no other era has ever been able to quite match.

@@alexxz0144 the 60's were by far the most transformative decade until really the 90's grunge movement.
Indeed.
A masterpiece from the 60s
68 years old and this is still MY song 🎶🎵💙
Sherry Baby!
You better come out tonight
Sweet Memories

What a voice one in a million 😍
For real.
@@ScaryPoppins It was actually a falsetto...but the best!
Song still captures the heart even after 60 years!! Live the woman who plays Sherry!! 😍
Who is she?
@@alexsandriabastow I don't know
Great song. Loved the 4 Seasons. One of my favorites.
love those 60s hair styles and Frankie Valli high pitched falsetto singing is infectious . I been singing this all day 😂
This song brings me back to the early 1960’s….this song is timeless and such a favorite 🙌👏
This song brings back so many good memories love it so much never get tired of listening to it 😊❤
My grandpa always used to play either this or a few other songs, and whenever i listen to this I smell the car. Rest in peace Grandpa ❤
When I was small in the early 2000’s in south Florida, my dad would take me to Parrot Jungle (now Pinecrest Gardens) almost every Saturday. My dad played me this song (and other 60’s songs) all the time.. I totally pictured Frankie Valli’s voice coming from a big scary parrot in this song, to be honest! Kids! 😂 So fond of those memories of that simple, “happy without needing a reason” time. My dad was good at nurturing that for me as a little kid. As a young adult, I’ve really gone back to the music my dad exposed me to before I hit the teen years. I remember snippets of so many songs, which my dad doesn’t even remember that I know them! I love it.
For me its Patrick Star
Funny you should mention this, because it's similar to the first time I ever heard Tennessee Ernie Ford's "Sixteen Tons." It was from an animatronic gorilla on the boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey -- at Martell's, the very venue where the Four Seasons were playing when they found out "Sherry" had hit Number 1.
This music video is off the charts
This song is awesome 😎 love Frankie and the 4 seasons
It’s so funny how they need to keep smiling all the time.Even when their singing.. funny
Brings back to my teenage years
frankie valli wow what can you say an immortal talent,a voice so original , timeless
Great, unique voice and style of music.
I love Frankie Valli’s falsetto this a beautiful show and thank you for sharing!🎶
Cant like this enough!
This is the song that reminds me the most of high school. 1960s.
My fathers favorite group of all time. "I celebrate the guys entire catalogue"
The four lover's.... What a threat to listen to this vocals.... Learn !!!!
A cheesy film clip, but it is charming at the same time....I love the innocence from way back then. My parents' generation. Can we bring some of that back please, so that the world holds a bit of excitement, happiness and mystery for everyone? Thanks Four Seasons, you made my day 🌵💗✨
They play this at my job and I love it !
Saw this on TV when I was 3-4. One of their iconic song always on the radio in '60s.
Ok, I can't be the only one who feels this way. That model i amazing. Reminds me of the latinas I grew up with in Brooklyn. Dark hair and eyes can't be beat!!!!
Brooklyn roads 👍
Don't be gay girls like men and that's gay but men like girls therefore dating a man is straight
That's British actress Barbara steel
Unmistakable voice for an unmistakable era!!!!😎
I can't count how many people have sung this to me. I'm 63 and it still happens, lol!
Just amazing, love this song
WOW what a song and the actress is beautiful
As a woman called Sherry, I effing loved this song ❤️❤️❤️
Me too. I was born in 1965. My Momma loved this song.
I'm sure you deserved it.
One of my alltime favorite Four Seasons songs from the 1960's. I love that this video is from Dutch tv. I can read what is shown in the graphics. Mom and dad were Dutch!
i used to hear this song in my tap/ballet classes and i was doing a dance show and one of the older students done sherry, brings back memories
I remember my dad taking me to high school 1962-1966 and he would put this song because in that time it was the song of the year
Love this song, and it was AWESOME watching Franky Valli perform near Toronto last Saturday. What a treat.
This reminds me of my dear dad . I love you forever ❤️
I love how she lifts the flag on the mailbox as if to say that SHERRY IS IN! These guys were stellar. And my little ones love them, too!
Love this song a lady that I’ve known all my life always sings this when she sees me❤
Your Song ❤
So much fun ♥
Bob Gaudio is always ahead of his time. Here he looks like a combination of Maynard G. Krebs and one of the Canamites from The Twilight Zone episode.
I played that 45 over and over and over till it wore out
So Wholesome !! wow
The range on the voice gezzz 🔥
Underrated, this video needs more views
I was 13 when I heard this song, great times and always smile when I hear it ❤
Good song.makes me feel happy
Always will be a great song
The difference between Frankie’s falsetto and everyone else’s is that his has an overdrive gear: he can shift immediately to belting. No one can come close to his sonic intensity.
I remember when this song hit the AM radio 93 KHJ, I was seven but I remember it like yesterday. they were big then and now.
As of this week, it ranks as the 505th biggest hit in Billboard Hot 100 History........!!
I love to Franky and the four season’s. You guys are big inspirations to me and I really hope that you guys live somewhere else in a far away galaxy or a far away lightyear that shines brighter than the others 💜💕☮️✨
Possibly y favourite Four Season song, but hay they did rock in the day.
Thank you for the music 🎵
