If Norwich went up with Duffy and Gibson as the CB pairing Norwich would be on track to beat Sheffield United's goals conceded record. Sutton is 100% right about Idah too, his ceiling is probably Championship but he was one of the best off the bench strikers in the league and Norwich let him go just to bring in someone who clearly doesn't train well enough to be given any responsibility.

Having had time to reflect after the four goal mauling at QPR and then missing out on second place, some Leeds fans were starting to think the same, including me.
No point going up if you are going to get hammered once or twice a month by the money teams. Not that much fun battling for 17th place in early May either. Last season was awful and the one before was also painful. The fact is, promoted sides need to be built on a sound defence to have a chance of competing, as this season has shown. I hope I am wrong, but I think Ipswich will struggle. They have done really well this season, but they have conceded a lot of goals and relied on outscoring the opposition. Hard to play like that in the Premier League.

Glad that Wagner’s gone now. I know that we have had some good times but it’s been very shaky ever since his takeover from Smith. Leeds fan here. For as long as I can remember Norwich have always played the game the right way, good footballing team. Wagner is the complete opposite, he plays negative/defensively, he got Huddersfield promoted through the play off's without scoring a goal, playing for penalties. Wagner is not a good advert for the game. Against Leeds he set his team up to play for penalties. Football fans pay a lot of money to watch the game, I don't want to watch boring football, a team that plays for pens. Get him sacked. Norwich deserve better than him.

at least someone outside the club can understand why we weren't happy with him and it wasn't just a case of 'entitlement'
his whole plan seemed to revolve around making it to pens, despite our key players not being fit enough to last 90mins never mind extra time on top before you get to pens. his tactical stubbornness also blown out of the water in the first eight minutes when you open your scoring and many norwich fans have him pegged as someone incapable of in-game tactical adjustments, so no plan b and no chance.

Ed Sheeran must be devastated to see his beloved Norwich fail to qualify for the promise land as their bitter rivals advanced to the PL.

Norwich have made a very bad decision to let David Wagner go.
Wagner has done an excellent job for Norwich. Got them into play offs.
I believe if Wagner was given 2 years, he would get Norwich challenge for automatic promotion possibly next season.

you seen the state of our squad? beyond the fully fit xi (which we rarely had all season) there's bugger all. his style of football didn't suit what we're trying to do and what the fans would get fully behind, but most importantly he just didn't trust the youth and give them a chance and that's our bread & butter; without selling on promising youth for big fees we can't exist

He’s a Norwich fan and worried what would happen to them in the Prem. Sheff Utd have scared a lot of supporters, they went up and couldn’t handle it, they were hammered constantly. The fear is unless a team comes up very strong and signs some good players they won’t be able to cope. The gap between the Prem and Championship seems to be growing. I think Chris was just concerned Norwich would be destroyed in the Prem, his words come from a good place.

The Ipswich fan's are gloating over Norwich. Well, it's a total certainty that the boot will be on the other foot next season as Ipswich get hammered weekly and do what Burnley and Sheffield United have done this season.

So the original yo-yo clubs (Palace & Sunderland) stopped going back and forth now the newer ones (Fulham, Norwich & West Brom) have stopped as well. It's all a good thing
