i love your comprehensive reviews. the timecodes are incredibly useful.
Thanks for the very detailed review. I think this is the best one on youtube so far.
Very helpful. Looking to get these now, look forward to future reviews. Keep it up James !!
Great video, thanks for posting. I got one of these the other day and they are really good, especially for the price. I screwed a small block of 2x4 wood to the back of my desk then clamped it to that to free up a bit more desk space.
You have almost covered every detail, Great job..!
That's how you make a review. Very detailed and answers all of my questions. Liked.
Such a great review. Thanks, that video help a lot in my buying decision!
VERY HELPFUL!
ITs the only source online(srs) that has all the angles and cameras showing it all around which helps to figure out if it is good or not for our setup.
I almost bought a Gas one but after this video which explained that i cant have it if my table is near my wall so ill get a regular one, thanks!
Damn! This is the neatest review for an item so far. Very neat!
Thank you my friend just ordered this today super excited :)
Great thing that I have found your video before I'll do my own review of the new version of the F160. 2 things that I have noticed when I opened the box is the ease of cable management and a simpler quick C-clamp design
I just bought one of these. REVIEW CORRECTION ** you can get full range of motion backwards on the bottom arms by loosing the bolt underneath with Allen key. It will allow you to put them both arms right next to each other giving you more desk space
Hi there, sorry I can’t find the information elsewhere, may I know if you are able to do a stacking of 24” monitors vertically ?
@@dexterys7305 sure you can. Both vertical & both horizontal. One vertical and one horizontal. It's very flexible.
With NB 160F you will not be able to do this as mentioned in the video. Thanks
really good review. keep it up bro, love the content
One of the best reviews ive ever seen on CZcams, im shocked.
Thank youfor the video !! ,you also convicted me to buy this one
This guy deserves a subscribe.
Great video dude! Nice and detailed and not too lengthy :) subscribed
Thanks!
Many thanks for the informative video!
Great review, just placed an order for these :)
you've convinced me to buy this
To avoid the wall issue for some screen sizes you can just set the clamp in an offset position and have one monitor arm effectively folded back over itself, and the other fully extended (if that makes sense). Then you just swivel at the vesa mount 90 degrees and all arms should be running the length of the wall.
I always see people complaining about this as well... I had the same thought, extend one arm completely and fold the other. I have never tried it. Do you have personal experience with that?
just ordered mine and was a bit worried about losing some desk space but I thought I could do something like that but he didn’t show it in the vid. Thx for clearing that up 👍
Amazing video! Thank you so much
Very detail. Thank you
Great video! Love it

ur camera set up for ur review so good
Excelent Review, the best.
thanks man.. keep it up and here’s a sub
Thank you brother./.. so helpful
Excellent review
Thanks man this saved me
nice review/ thanks!
Good day.. New subscriber here from the Philippines.. I really appreciate your detailed and honest review Sir.. This kind of your review we're looking for and it really helps.. I'll go watch for your other videos.. Thanks and more power..
Thanks so much!
@@jcunboxing You're welcome Sir..
What this review doesn't tell you, YES, you can put two 27" monitors horizontally and still have a considerable height room/space underneath. You can get them close together by folding the arms a bit, or have the arms completely extended against the wall and have a large gap in between while the monitors are flush against the wall.
The maneuverability of the arms is insane! But they don't allow a vertical layout of the monitors (on top of each other)
The base houses a room for two USB ports, you can put your USB extenders in there and use it regardless of the ports layout (have the cables come out completely), just make sure the cover of the USB room is completely flush with the base when you screw it back on (underneath the base)
good review thank you
Nice review! Would have been great if you had the max weight/size monitor to test on it.
7:03 You pussied out bruh! Bringing them guns lmao
I think you are reading my mind! Because yesterday I bought a NB North Bayou F80 for the monitor i will pick :)
F80 is a superb model, got mine yesterday. I've noticed though that F80 can come with 2 different clamps, one being screw-less and the other the common one
Thank you
Damn, nice video!
very helpful!
I bought one of these for my streaming and I dont regret it. your review convinced me to get it and I hope you do more. I subbed and liked.
Thanks for the encouragement! Glad it helped you and that you're loving the monitor arms :)
can i rotate this in portrait sir? thanks in advanced planning this today to buy
Great video, you should make one with the laptop-monitor setup
Thanks for the video. V informative.
I realized this is not for me, since the wall being too close to desk.
I do love the cable management solution though ..
Glad it was helpful!
great video
Here in Brazil this brand is not very famous, but it is at a great price. Thanks for Review o/
the quality tho sheeeeesh
nice vid thanks! :)
Thanks for the video. I wanted to see how they’d fit against a wall. Looks like it takes too much room
Great video! Does this come with monitor screws? Mine don't have them preinstalled into the monitor
really helpful, Thanks alot
I prefer two single arms, instead of doble, because I can sit right in front one of the monitors e put the other beside. The dual arm doesn't allows that. Thanks again from Brazil.
Great video definitely getting this. SUBSCRIBED!!!!!
my heart keeps stopping every time he moves one or both of the monitors to each other
After months of deciding i bought this f160 for my dual monitor, i have alienware monitor and a benq. Alienware stand are pretty wide and takes up the space for my mousepad lol. Thank you for the review, very informative :)
@Uzayr Moosa still using them to this day,
@Uzayr Moosa i use 140x60
Nice Reviewer! detailed compare to others.
im looking for one for my monitor and my Huion drawing display. Think this may be the one.
Thanks for pointing out the space it takes if you have a table that is up against a wall. This kind of arms is for desks with a lot of space. I've got a small desk and good thing I watched this before I could have bought this one.
I have the same problem, so for a small desk what arm did you buy?
Same issue here with having a small desk up against a wall. Could you guys share any solution you used since?
Thank you very much, I found this video while looking for a way to align my 2 monitors close to each other, turns out I placed my desk too close to the wall so I can’t bend the arm to an “M” shape like that ❤
Glad it helped!
Hi, really good review. But you can just probably install the cables management first instead of monitors. Haha. Anyway its a good and very clear content. Keep it up
Hey James, Nice review! Would like to ask if you could arrange the monitors on top of each other? Is this possible with this mount?
Hi Jeran, nah it's bit possible with this one. I do have a monitor arm review of the AVLT on my channel that does stacking. Check it out!
in the grommet installation, cables still have to go through the back of the desk and not the hole in the table?
9:34 that monitor smash though h
Can you also do a review of the Huanuo Dual Monitor Stands
Tension adjustment for the tilt is on the side of the tilt mechanism.
Great content! Thank you for doing this. I share a desk with my cofounder and I want to have a setup like yours, but since we sit opposite to each other, can the arm make the monitor stand with its backs facing each other? I'm planning to setup the arm on the short end of a rectangular desk.
If I think I understand what you're saying, this isn't the best one to do that since there is a pivot limit as I show in the video.
@@jcunboxing Yeah, I opted for two F80s instead. Thank you, James! Love your content!
Is it better to get 1 dual monitor arm or 2 single monitor arms? I have a 240hz Benq and a 144hz Asus both preferred to be horizontal and one is straight on mean while the other is at an angle on my right (I can make it left if needed).
Hey a quick question, does the initial package come with screws for the monitor? One of my monitors don't have inbuilt screws for the monitor mount! Thanks~
Hi James, nice review and very helpful. I'm curious since Obviously if you have a wall behind this arms take so much space, would it be possible if I just like hire a carpenter, or like drill a hole in my table to have a good adjustment?
What do you think?
Yea it's definitely possible to drill a hole in the desk to mount it further into the table. It comes with the necessary mounting options.
Desk clearance is challenging. I need a wider desk for this.
I have a four-inches thick table, will the clamp still work on that or do the grommet installation instead?
Does it support most latest type of monitors? New to PCs setups
is this the ikea linnmon desk? if so do you have a piece of wood in between the desk and the clamp?
I fell like the only draw back to having desk mounted arms, is the wobble. I have a north bayou wall mounted arm for my 32" monitor and i have to say i love it because of the zero screen wobble if i bump the desk.
I have a NB 80 desk mounted with the clamp, and the wobble is none for a 27" display, I'd say NB makes a great job in this regard and had nailed it comparing to their previous models
Why mine have too much wobble
@@samsantos4509 tighten the tension rod further. That will help take out much of the wobble.
hey do you know if is it possible to screw then in the table? I don't see any hole on the arm basis for that and I need a arm that is possible to screw.
in case it helps somebody: if you have a very deep desk or you like to sit close to the monitor i would buy 2 single arm stands, rather than the dual arm stand.
im not sure if its there on the f160 but on the f180 I thought didnt have tilt adjustment either until I fiddled around with it. Turns out it has two half-circle plastic covers that cover the screw, just squeeze and pull, it should pop right off. Again, im not sure if this is only with the f180, but everything else is exactly the same. hope that helps :)
Hey thanks man! Ya just saved my bacon
Is it possible to fit a 15 inch laptop between both screens when the arms are spread to the maximum ?
Can the two arms be extended to the sides let's say I have 3x24" screen and put one in the middle with original stand and two mounted to the arms extended to the sides. Do you feel it's feasible?
Great video! Warning to Samsung Odyssey G7 users. Like James mentioned, there is no tension adjustment for tilt.. The monitor keeps tilting down and it's very annoying.
ooo just when I thought I found the one.
I dont know if they released a revision of the support, but mine have the adjustment for it, have no problem using the G7
how many centimetres from the wall to the end of the monitor arm?
I want to buy but it may take up a lot of space on my table.
Just bought one. This may be a 2021 model because the part where you unscrew the grips is not present with mine. It's more like a hook like mechanism and then i tighten the grips to the table.
Do you recommend this mount if my desk is close to a wall? I cannot afford to make my desk farther the wall as I have limited space in room.
I have a 18 inch deep mousepad and a 20inch deep desk so could I clamp this on that extra 2 inches I have or would it have to clamp on my mousepad
was looking to buy a dual monitor mount and im choosing between the f160 and h160. theyre the same price, which one do you think is better?
Great content! I plan to buy this ...but now have to give up as my table back is the wall...so if I use this mount.....the monitor will be quite inwards of the table (60CM deep only).....Not sure if there is any other option that it wont take to much back space of arm...
Same problen here. What did you do?
Was this on a particle board? If so, is the mount bending the table right now?
Hey there, I'm thinking of picking one of these up for myself, great review by the way. About the cableways, for one of my monitors I need to run DP cable, 1 HDMI cable and the power cord. Do you think from your experience that this will fit in the cableway? 3 total cables, since you said 4 was too many.
Probably not....
@@jcunboxing thanks for getting back to me :D
Do u have any recommendations for budget stacked arms?
Is it possible to remove 2nd "arm" for future for 2nd monitor installation ?
I have an LG ultrawide and a 27'' monitor. The LG is a LG 25UM58-P. will both screens fit on this stand ?
hello i was wondering how do you adjust the tension screw
Great content! Would you recommend this for someone who has a 29 inch ultra wide, and 24 inch setup?
Nope, you ultrawide probably won't fit
@@jcunboxing Thanks!
bonjour James très bien votre vidéo top juste un petite réflexion ,comme je suis nul en anglais je vais essayer de voir avec les sous titre en français pour le montage du produit à bientot
What about the h160 as compared to this? Which would u prefer?
Can it be arranged in vertical manner not like the horizontal that you usually do?
'is this better than the loop alloy dual mount?
Can i connect a laptop tray/holder to that arm? Because im using a laptop and monitor
Hi!! I'm looking to get these but can you position the monitors on top of each other? I'm planning to mount them on a wall by building a mini shelf that I can clamp onto. This will make them clamp higher than clamping it to the table. Your answer will help me a lot! Thanks!
You can easily just buy a wall mountable monitor arm bracket. Would probably suite your needs a lot better. I would be very cautious/advice against clamping this on a shelf as it's not stable/might rip off the wall. Always better to mount the arm directly onto the wall itself. These ones also won't allow you to stack. There are monitor arms dedicated for stacking.
@5:28 the pivot close to the monitor mount is plastic? or plastic cover metal?
