Hello Everyone!
If you just purchased an Epson Ecotank Printer and you want to adjust your settings to match mine, I am going to take you step-by-step through the process.
I currently have two Epson ET printers that have been set up to be used for sublimation and I get asked frequently about my printer settings and how to get them. I am demonstrating several things in this tutorial and I cannot wait to share the full process with you.

Thank you so much for this video. It took me a minute to get the Printer Preferences to show up on the printer I use for sublimation. I have two 2720’s and things got a tad confused. But I did get it straightened out and the printer is now set up correctly.

Hello Delonda. This was a Great and Informative Video. Questions : Do you still mirror within the the Cricut Design Space software even though, mirror is already turned on in the Printer Pre-Settings? I don't want to assume anything, so I'm asking. In my opinion the answer would be No, but I want to make sure. Question 2: Should or Can you shake up the sublimation ink? The reason I'm asking this question is because I read somewhere that you're not suppose to shake up the ink (for the ecotank printers) whether it's going in a regular inkjet printer or sublimation printer. But I saw a CZcamsr one day shaking up the ink in one of their videos. Question 3: Can these printer Pre-Settings be used in any software other than Cricut Design Space? Thank you in advance for responding back to me. Hopefully, my questions made since. ❤😊

I have a Mac . The steps you did here, I did on the screen of the printer itself. Is this different in terms of getting the vibrant colors you spoke of here in this video ?
Yes, I believe the settings are different for a Mac
Delonda if some on hasn't got I mug press for the infusible ink can you use a tumbler press

I think it depends on the model. My ET 15000 takes a long time in my opinion.
One thing I’m curious about do you feel you get different print quality when printing from say DesignSpace and something like Microsoft Word?
I honestly feel like the quality is the same in terms of the colors. I feel the difference lies in the accuracy of the height and width.
Hi Delond I love the video I doing every step I use the ink came with the ET 15000 Epson printer my images is printing finally but still my heat press not pressing my images on my garment can you help me out smh 😮 oh do you have to extract the images from your computer be fore you print the images off your printer
If you are referring to the epsons actual ink that usually comes in the box these are not sublimation inks.
If you bought the package as a sublimation package you should have used the sublimation ink and supplied separately when setting it up and the printer will need to be emptied of ink and cleaned before using the sublimation ink.
There are videos on yt and this is actually easier than you think

Delonda if I have already downloaded the drivers when I first converted my Epson ET1500 printer do I need to download the drivers you did again? Or do I just do the preset the setting? Thank you
I downloaded them again today, even though I already had them downloaded. I don't think it will hurt anything.
@@CraftingwithDelonda I did both printers today. I notice you Mirror your image in DS before sending to the printer and then you select Mirror when you are doing the preset settings. Do I need to mirror my image every time when I'm going to send to printer even though I now have my settings already set?
Got a technician Qs...have you downloaded the ICC profile for Hiipoo ink to your Epson? I was looking on the Hiipoo website and saw this. On looking up what an ICC profile is, it is a setting that tells your printer how to create the most accurate colors for the ink your using. Hiipoo has ICC files for all the Epson sublimation compatible printers. I have got to unbox my new Epson so I'm going to do this and see how the colors are.
Hiipoo says to only sublimate directly onto fabric with maximum of 30% cotton. I saw on another tutorial that the more cotton is present the more faded and antique the printing becomes. Black & white or sepia looks best done on high cotton blends.
I have downloaded the ICC profile for Hiipoo and I didn't notice a difference at all.

If you have a way to remove the ink; but I don't have any advice about that.
I have cosmo ink is this the same color wheel? I'm out of butcher paper can I use the brown craft paper or what can I use in its place. Thank-you ❤❤❤❤
Yes, for cosmo ink, the color wheel would be the same. If you don't have white butcher paper, I suggest using white cardstock. I do not suggest using brown butcher paper.

What program are you printing from?
I think I was printing from Cricut Design Space.
I mbsetting up 2800 is it the same as this.
It should be the same.
Are you printing a test page on sub paper or on copy paper?

@@CraftingwithDelonda Thank you. I always use copy paper so I dont waste my sub paper but it probably doesnt print true to color. That's why I wondered.
Do the Cricut brand t shirts shrink?
I am not sure if they shrink. I haven't noticed that; but since they aren't true to size, I normally get a size larger than what I usually wear.
Do you have any suggestions on why my epson is stuck on preparing to to print? Will not move from there

I haven't seen that before. Make sure you are following the steps I demonstrated.
Oh I have another ? the ink that come with my Epson ET15000 is not sublimation I’m confused because that what I used the ink came with the printer
Have you ever printed on your Epson using the multipage poster print feature where you can print a larger than regular or legal size item that takes 2x2 or more pages to print. I have successfully done this but neglected to write down the settings I used to accomplish that. I have experimented numerous times trying to recreate that. I have tried contacting Epson support, but they were not helpful.

Yes. What I demonstrated was the sublimation process and no powder was involved.
