I saw awhile back online that if you spray it with acrylic spray after cutting/printing to seal and make it permanent and make the prints last really works. I used to make 3g Opaque dark transfers with pigment printer and it last long. I wonder if acrylic spray will be better especially on dye printers.

If you have a "dye ink" based printer (like those lower end ecotanks), it will fade easily same as making stickers with it. I use to make 3g opaque transfer papers and using "pigment ink" based printer last longer. I read online that spraying with acrylic spray after cutting the prints last longer but havent tried it. It is worth trying though. I tried it on stickers and it works for outdoor stickers on vinyl. Hope it helps. I have a low end et2720 that I successfully replaced with Korean made pigment ink and I been using it for about 3 years now. I make sure I regularly print atleast 2-3 times a week. I have not even have any head cleaning even ones. I have my son print on it when I go on vacations. I downloaded a free epson "CYMK purge color sheet" to print twice a week. Ink is cheap, it consumes less ink than cleaning.

Printing with sublimation ink on printable vinyl seems to last longer than the regular ink.

If you have a "dye ink" based printer, it will fade easily same as making stickers with it.
