- Hackers hit again in Sea of Thieves! Man was this a wild one... These Hackers explain all the hacks. How they are done and what each hack does. It is quite insane! Let me know in the comments if you think all of them should be banned.

Quick question: Do the Xbox players deserve the same ban and repercussions that the hacker does or is it okay for them to get the streak, the gold and suffer no consequences?

Yes, if they were aware of it they should be banned as well. They indirectly used the hack to get the rewards. Also I think there are some "hackers for hire" who get paid to carry people through the grind. Just one more reason to ban anyone aware of this. Now the problem is... how to know for sure they were willingly part of it? What if someone gets into a crew and one of his teammate is secretly hacking?

Are you asking about the subtitles in the top left? That is a setting actually. I am adding text onto the screen though to clarify conversations at times
These hackers were not discreet. I'm pretty sure you met some hackers during the community day too, they were just smarter. Rare didn't really fixed the issue yet
Haha they were discreet to start, but yea we sunk only once on community day and played for 8-10 hours! Came across hackers twice in one hour the day before community day. Either way I’m just trying to bring attention to the issues. Appreciate the feedback

Yea the hacks are wild! Rare fixes some, and new ones come out after. It's like a game between the hackers and devs at this point.
the 2 xbox players should be lifeban on their xbox account not just SOT and the hacker should be found and imprisoned for a good 4 years they would stop a l;ot of these clown from hacking

Double gunner (backtracker, animation canceler, quick swaper) crying about cheaters lol uninstall the game, we don't need both of this type of players. For a console player playing against you is the very similar to playing against the hacker, so you're also a cheater by abusing game mechanics that console players can't and PC players like myself won't because I wouldn't feel good winning like that. Because of thix problems SOT community has become the most toxic I know.
Yea accept their is one flaw to your idea, console can play on console only. If I am fighting a controller that’s their choice to Opt into matchmaking with PC…. Oh and btw everything you said is the same thing (quick swapper, animation cancel) same thing… and it’s not an exploit it’s part of the game you are allowed to do it just as I am. Now hacks, instant ladder, speed swim, Are you or I allowed to do that, ask yourself that. I used to play console so I know both sides of the coin!
@@ColonelDeMoss In the settings it only says something like "prefer console players" it's not guaranteed but the game is crossplay and should therefore be balanced, but the game is just broken. Seeing adults trying to make this game into something competetive, destroying some kids on xbox like I very often play with my nephew good he doesn't understand english, what a toxic lowlife community this is, if this years updated won't be good the game is basically done, but I hope they will bring good updates and maybe fix some things but my hopes are low because many exploits are in the game since release. They could fix all problems with anticheat and forcing players into using sword and one ranged weapon of choice, also nerfing ranged weapons so no more oneshooting, all the toxic players would disappear in one day and many more casuals would join.
