Fayha Choir brilliantly perform Lebsou El Kafafi W Meshyou by Torikian - Giving Voice to Music

"Lebsou El Kafafi," a #Lebanese #song composed by Marcel Khalife, arranged by Edward Torikian, and written by Talal Haidar tells the tale of three warriors defending their country against all odds. Based on a true story, its melodies and soaring vocalizations brings its audience into the heart of the battle alongside the brave soldiers. The lyrics paint a vivid picture of courage, resilience, and fearless determination.
The Fayha National Choir brought this folkloric piece of heritage to life at the inauguration of Giving Voice to Music in #Beirut, #Lebanon led by Maestro Barkev Taslakian with an incredible interpretation by soloist Roula Abou Baker.
"لبسوا الكفافي" أغنية لبنانية من ألحان مارسيل خليفة وتوزيع إدوارد توريكيان وتأليف طلال حيدر الذي يروي فيها قصة ثلاثة محاربين يدافعون عن بلادهم.
استنادًا إلى قصة حقيقية، فإن ألحانها وطريقة الأداء وضعت الجمهور في قلب المعركة إلى جانب الجنود.
أعاد كورال الفيحاء الوطني إحياء هذه القطعة التراثية الفولكلورية في حفل افتتاح "إعطاء الصوت للموسيقى في بيروت، لبنان، بقيادة المايسترو باركيف تسلاكيان وغناء إفرادي لرولا أبو بكر.
