I was an extra on this set for a day. I'll admit, they re-created Boylston Street near flawlessly. Then I finally saw ths Film las week (3x)... it was impressive.

what I see is a lot of peoples memories of a day that happened to them... need to recheck the dictionary for the word hoax ... maybe it has multiple meanings

A lot of them are yes. A lot of people who was there and involved that day and the three days after during the manhunt until it ended was in the movies as extras and doing what they was actually doing in the moments, including actual hospital staff who was treating the victims and the army.

el cine esta perdiendo su magia, lo que antes era utileria y escenarios reales y construidos especialmente para la pelicula ahora se a convertido solo en pantalla verde, teniendo en cuenta que el presupuesto actual de las peliculas es 3 veces mayor que el de hace 30 años, me parece increible que usen pantalla verde solo para ahorrar gastos. el cine al igual que el futbol se van a acabar por la avaricia, al cine le doy unos 15 años para que desaparesca.
Es difícil conseguir un bloque completo en Boston para filmar. También es un lugar su grosero e irrespetuoso de filmar. Es por eso que utilizaron múltiples pantallas verdes
