Wow, it looks like this train station is out in the middle of nowhere. It’s quite barren and definitely not pedestrian friendly if you live on the other side of town. And I certainly would not want to be walking out there late at night. Thanks for showing what it’s like.
You're right! Not much out there yet - there is a huge parking garage that a lot of people further out in Loudoun County drive in to use and get on the metro at the first/last stop. It'll be a few more years before the developments right around the metro build up more. Thank you for watching!
This area will eventually be a build up transit oriented development. It's great that DC is building transit infrastructure ahead of future growth. It's a model the rest of the country should be following
@@WanderThisWay I've had two family members move to the Ashburn area in the last 5 years. It's a great place for a young family to find housing and get started. They love it there.
