    Awesome stuff. I'm totally doing this with mine now. Saved me a ton of money on the molle bag. I was seriously contemplating cutting the plate carrier lol

    Not to sure if your still checking but this is gonna come in hand. Im using a cheap out airsoft carrier which has held up for about 3 years or so and its got alot on it and im picking up a slick carrier and the only issue was me not being able to put my back panel on it. You just saved me alot of stress, time and money.

    Thanks for doing this! I just did the exact same thing on my TMC clones (both the vest and the mini map, lol). Only difference on my end was that I had to order a hook sheet from China and 3D Print a custom looploc buckle thingy. It's very expensive to order the Vertx Map Quad to Europe. Ended up costing me 6 euros total, instead of the 40 euros if I had ordered everything. Again, thanks for this!

      Hey man! How did you do the molle pattern on the hook sheet? Laser cutting?

    • @Gil4519
      @Gil4519 Před 3 lety

      @@bySergZz I measured every thing and used a hobby knife to cut the spaces for the straps. Laser cuting the panel would be awesome, maybe in the future, when this one rips, it's still holding up pretty well

    I have the exact opposite problem. I’m trying to find ideas to mount a slick banger back panel to a Shellback banshee elite 2.0 with molle.

    Do you have another video tutorial that shows you using the straps and vertx quad panel you bought? I just see the results of it

    Very resourceful solution. How did you make sure the nylon straps didn't come undone from the plastic loops though? Or could I also use WTF straps?

      SSG SPUD I just used a plastic feed through buckle. I’m not sure what the correct terminology is for them but similar what you would find on a sling.

    Do you think you could fit a flag on the right or left side via a flag bunge or something it would fit?

    Would this same setup work with a Haley strategic flatpack?

    • @Redneck_Oper8tor
      @Redneck_Oper8tor  Před 4 lety

      Shawn Corber I don’t personally have a flat pack to try it with but as long as the pack has molle webbing on the back to attach the Velcro panels it should work.

    • @zexnynex777
      @zexnynex777 Před 4 lety

      The flat pack has a 1.5" loop sewed in n the slickster has 2" strap. I might try to squeeze the shoulder pads in the 1.5" n add some velcro to the flat packs molle... if not it will have to be a new rear bag. These clips on amazon say 27-75 days for delivery. None on ebay- imma keep looking. Dont want to wait till Oct 24th lol
      Ill get back on here in a few days n let you know. If i forget- zexnynex777@gmail

    • @zexnynex777
      @zexnynex777 Před 4 lety

      Shawn, im just going to buy a molle rear bag. this is a pretty cool mod but our flat pack straps are wider n i cant find buckles. plus id rather just keep it ultra secure rather than have an option to QD since the slickster is so easy to get in n out of. n hindsight, i kinda wish i got this pack instead. but if im going to get the molle back panel- for another 35$ there is the adapt zipper pouch adapter- n zipper pouches all about same price as flat pack n made for that system. but anyway, im keeping the flatpack n buying the molle plate bag. final decision.
