A lot more vs the gulfstream and others but this still has the advantage of being bigger despite being slower

BBJ MAX 7 range is 7000 miles with 8 Pax. Approx 10 year old under 1000 cycles well maintained BBJ 737 VIP version should be available for less than 25 mil which will serve for 20+ years easily. 737s life span is 40k + cycles. Prior MAX versions max range will be around 6300. Number of units sold makes experienced pilots availability much easier. You will not run out of options for maintenance needs because of global success of the model. Take it for world tour and shop without worrying about taking it back home in your own plane.

ACJ 220 > Embraer Lineage > Gulfstream G700 > Bombardier 7500 > Falcon 6x. The upcoming Falcon 10x will probably take the #2 spot but this A220 is the new king imho. I value interior room, range, & overall value in that order.

@@anthonytakouam2392 I will take the ACJ 220s interior space over the faster Gulfstreams and Bombardiers easily.
Landing at smaller airports is a factor but not as important as what I mentioned earlier.
WTF I'll never own one anyway. ☺️

@Mo Beasley Sorry I’m soo late for the discussion. However, never discouraged yourself. You may never be able to afford a personal beautiful A220. What if you received 1️⃣ as a birthday 🥳 gift❓🤔 I know what you are thinking 💭, long shot. Last chance, you befriend me & keep in contact.I’ll let you fly in my personal 🛩.😉🎯🤫

@@mobeasley8577 yeah but most people who will buy this value time rather than space, i mean the global and gulfstreams are already big for 10 people.
A220 will be slower it will need 11 hours vs real private jets on a 10 hours and u will probably need an 1 hour more becuz a220 cant land in a smaller airport
So u will probably take 2 hours more if u choose to fly with a220 rather than a faster real private jet that can land in shorter runways

    G700 Take-off 1768m Landing 768m
    Global 7500 / 800 Take-off is 1768m and Landing 740 - 760m
    The ACJ220-100 Take-off is 1450m and Landing is 1387m
Effectively the Landing and Take-Off distance of the ACJ220-100 is almost the same, however it requires 300m less runway than either the Global or the Gulfstream.
The only other negative is Range. Other than that this Aircraft can link any two majors cities in Style and Comfort and Space, which neither of the BIG Corporate Jets can do. the Space alone is the winner.
For lower US$70 Million or thereabouts, this Aircraft is by far the better option IMO.
    Well done to Airbus.

Great points. It does need more distance for landing. I live in California and my wife is from Singapore. Not that I could afford this jet. But any Biz jet from SFO to Singapore need a stop. Narita. Tokyo.

  • @indigdoc

You just need to review the videos on the Embraer 1000 Lineage biz jet ($60M E95-EC base aircraft). This is the same thing...so it deserves the same negative ratings. A regional domestic jet with added fuel tanks for more range, with less comfort on long haul flights. Lower ceiling at FL 41, 6K feet interior cabin pressure, slower max/cruise speed, and a shorter range at 5500 NM. A "poor man's" Gulfstream 700/Global 7500/Falcon 10X, at a whopping $81M for the base aircraft, then add upgraded interior. We're talking $90-100M per airplane - mucho dinero for much less performance than a G650/Global 6500/Falcon 8X, which are now 2nd tier aircraft.
Much like the Embraer 1000...it's very pretty, but not $100 Million pretty! Maybe add another fuel tank on the Embraer Lineage?
Hari (below) makes a great case for buying a well maintained used aircraft.

Absolutely right. Who wants a $80M plane with 41k altitude limits, 0.8 max speed and 6000ft cabin pressure? There are $7M jets with better performance and that is no joke. I think it looks beautiful but this is gonna bomb.
