This video DOESN'T contain any spoilers for the story of Danganronpa V3.
So, I played Danganronpa V3 a little while ago and guess who my favourite character is...
(Totally not the character I made an entire song about. Heh, heh...)
If you haven't played (or even heard of) Danganronpa then:
1. Don't worry! This song still has meaning for those who don't know Kokichi or the games. This song doesn't mention specific events or characters, so there won't be any bits that require you to have played the games to understand.
2. GO PLAY IT! The games and the anime are great.
Also, damn... It's been 9 months since I released my last original song (Drown in it). I have two other songs that are close to completion (one of which is a sequel to 'Drown in it'!) so look forward to that.

Kokichi may be a liar but… he did everything in his power to help the trials along under the guise of being an evil nuisance. The one thing he didn’t account for was how good a detective shuichi was.

I made a kokichi unused execution in my head...
to be honest, when i first time found this video, i didn't know anything about this character and Danganronpa V3. i thought he is a big troublemaker who has his own theatre with his own audience because of the "masks" phrases. in short words he gave me major "anime joker" vibes. and then i find out about Danganronpa and now i'm assure about Ouma's character, so listening again hit different.

Shortly after I started listening to Vocaloid, I wrote an essay for school referencing lyrics from this song. The topic was lying, and I chose to write about how I lied about my interest in Vocaloid. At the time I thought it was a niche and embarrassing interest. Since then I have resolved that I was wrong and stopped having to make "falsified true lies". Closely looking at the lyrics.. I think this is a complete summarization of Kokichi's character.
At first it was catchy and fun..
