  • Hari Om!
Swami Aparajitananda defines and discusses in depth UPA-NI-SAT and the SELF KNOWLEDGE that it gives. A sense of subtleness and alertness is heard in the depths of the depth in the very name KAIVALYA UPANISHAD (also known as MOKSHA SHĀSTRA), a part of Atharvana Veda, and in the mention of names of Guru and shishya, viz. Lord Brahmājī and Ashvalāyana Rishi. Explaining how minor and major Upanishads are classified, it is emphasized that content of minor Upanishad is not minor.
SHĀNTI PĀTHA invokes devatās to shower auspiciousness to glorify Him by ears, eyes, tanu (Vedic Mantras). Two unique definitions are given: "Anything which quietens the mind is AUSPICIOUS" and "TRUE GLORIFYING is reflecting God in our personality." A queer aspect that it is beginners' invocation is discussed. Specific features of invoking devatās' named in Shānti Pātha are explained. Why SHĀNTI is pronounced thrice is clarified
Verse 1: Among Brahmājī's names, PARMESHTHĪ is explained in various ways. BHAGAVĀN with six-fold wealth is defined. Why a realised saint is also called Bhagavān is explained. When THE GURU comes in the life of a shishya and how to approach the Guru (UPASAMIPYA) is explained in detail. Auspiciousness and implication of the term KATHA is revealed. Sample types of questions of a craving seeker and of a lower worldly (3Ks) type are also discussed.
Verse 2 contains prayer to teach BRAHMAVIDYĀ. 5 adjectives of It are discussed:
    1. Best
    2. Valued as Source of virtues by noble ones.
    (Contd.)

Swamiji, instead of the example of Jesus Christ, you could have cited the example of Guru Tegh bahadur or, the sons of Guru Gobind Singh. We do not need validation from Christianity.
