VAM (Velocità Ascensionale Media) is an indicator used in bike computers to measure a rider's average vertical speed during an ascent. It is also known as Average Ascent Rate or Vertical Ascent Speed.
VAM is a useful metric for measuring a cyclist's climbing performance. It is calculated by dividing the rider's vertical ascent rate (measured in meters per hour) by their body weight (measured in kilograms). The result is expressed in meters per hour per kilogram (m/h/kg).
For example, if a rider climbs 1000 meters in one hour and weighs 70 kilograms, then their VAM would be 14.3 m/h/kg (1000 meters / 70 kg = 14.3 m/h/kg). This means that the rider is able to climb at an average rate of 14.3 meters per hour for every kilogram of body weight.
VAM can be a useful tool for monitoring progress and setting goals for climbing performance. It is often used by professional cyclists and serious amateurs as a way to track their climbing ability over time and compare their performance to others.

Does it work correctly the Cadence ?
after update to latest firmware, why xoss g+ 2nd sensor cadence speed HR lagging 4-5s, do you feel same problems?
I have not updated. Its also my personal rule to ONLY UPDATE FIRMWARES WHEN NEEDED. I do this on ALL MY DEVICES, even my phone and its apps. And it wouldnt hurt to do little research before updating
Hello, have tried this on indoor bike training? Will it be able to measure the supposed distance when using an indoor trainer?
I looked it up, it cannot. Even when paired with speed sensors. It mainly uses the GPS sensor

Not possible unfortunately. Same feeling, as mentioned, it looks cluttered and cramped

Cadence and heartrate sensors must be bought separately. G+ just comes with the computer itself.
Kakadating lang po ng inorder ko. Hindi na po ba sinesetup like nung sa gen1?
Pag pinepress ko kasi yung play/powed button ng sabay iba yung labas hindi yung katulad dun sa 1st gen na may iseset pa para accurate yung speed.
Ah gumagamit ka ng speed sensor? Sa nabasa ko, auto sync daw lahat ng settings if na connect mo na yung new g2 sa xoss app. Balikan kita for updates

Hello boss, kamusta naman po performance? Padatingg palang po yung akin, maganda naman po meron na po bangg issue na in counter sa xoss g2 plus?
Actually i have read na may iba after few times of usage, the screen went blank. Recording and has access to app but blanko screen. Some are instant at first power on. But the owners update that sellers do honor warranty and exchange the defective item

Nag rurun naman ang speed just using GPS without the need for speed sensor? can it connect kaya sa power meter?
I dont think it has power meter compatibility, based on sensors featured on product ads. And no, it needs GPS unfortunately
is that true the max grafient can count is 18?, how about 20++ gradient?

any issues sa data ya regarding elevation gain? ung sa akin kasi mali palagi ung elevation gain ya
I havent compared it with strava. But the 1st gen also had elev gain differences too. About 10m diff

Boss, sa G2+, pag ino-on ko na ung GPS, nag o-on naman tapos mamamtay na ung backlight nya. Pano pag madilim habang napadyak at gsto mo makita ung numbers? Pano buksan ung backlight? Ano pindutin?
Yan ang problema nang xoss g2 kahit sa gen1 naka depende lang sa oras (day/night) ang Always On backlight nya. sa Magene ko pwede ma on off ng button ang backlight

How to set up
No complicated set up needed. Just connect to app if you want strava/ more data than on display. If not, ready to use upon power on
Ano po much better po sa inyo na mare recommend nyo bet. G2 / G2+, for a casual rider po.
If casual rides lang, and your main purpose is for GPS & speed/distance tracking only, just get the G2. The added Cadence & Heart rate monitoring (sensors sold separately) is d only main difference
G2 mas matagal malowbat kasi limited lang ang mga features. less function = more battery

No. Additional lang for more accurate speed reading ang sensor
