Hillary Rodham Clinton Awards 2022

The First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska and HRH The Countess of Wessex were among five women who received the 2022 Hillary Rodham Clinton awards. The awards are bestowed annually by Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security (GIWPS) for exceptional leadership in promoting women's rights and creating a more peaceful and secure world for all.

Secretary Hillary Clinton urged the global community to hold perpetrators of sexual violence in conflicts accountable and honored Ukrainian women's fight for democracy, human rights, and justice for crimes against humanity.
