  • This incense holder is inspired both by Japanese design and the ripples water will make when an object is dropped into it. The wooden feet give this item a little bit of elevation and breathability, conjuring a vibe of space and lightness to counter the introduction of aromas into your surroundings.
    Handmade with walnut wood and designed with peace and tranquility in mind. This particular version's incense stick holder is fixed into place. Look out for a future version where it is magnetic and you can alter and change the angle of the incense stick.
    I'm really happy with the outcome and am excited to continue using this at home!

    The ripples came out so nice and smooth! Love the juxtaposition of the seemingly solid material and fluid form.

    Your method for drilling the hole in the ball was clever, getting it centered is a trick when the bit wants to slide off to the side.

    Beautiful…. What were your dimensions? What is the name of that router bit?

    • @ClarasWoodshop
      @ClarasWoodshop  Před rokem +1

      Router bit is a cove bit router bit and dimensions are roughly 5x10x2. I also have a commentary version of this build as well but it's a little different than my most recent ones :-)
