MAKING an Incense Holder | Peaceful Woodworking

- This incense holder is inspired both by Japanese design and the ripples water will make when an object is dropped into it. The wooden feet give this item a little bit of elevation and breathability, conjuring a vibe of space and lightness to counter the introduction of aromas into your surroundings.
Handmade with walnut wood and designed with peace and tranquility in mind. This particular version's incense stick holder is fixed into place. Look out for a future version where it is magnetic and you can alter and change the angle of the incense stick.
I'm really happy with the outcome and am excited to continue using this at home!

The ripples came out so nice and smooth! Love the juxtaposition of the seemingly solid material and fluid form.
Thank you! I'm glad that you noticed and appreciated it! 😁🙌
As a woodturner and carver my only limitation would be not utilizing my mind and vision…. I can feel you are the same………. Wonderful video 辰年

Thank you! :-)
Your method for drilling the hole in the ball was clever, getting it centered is a trick when the bit wants to slide off to the side.
