red/green colorblind people see red and green as the same color, so the unit bars aren’t helpful. this is the most common variety of color blindness

I agree the units need to have more of a color difference between players. Hard to read sometimes.
Cool to see how different this looks from Clem vs Trigger. I love the Recall-based play, it's more my speed.
I was getting confused about which side was which, even with the different color health bars lol.

Also I think if Ray just goes advanced foundry instead of starforge in that final game he just wins any big fight. Snipers would do much better than the falcons.
And yes I will take every opportunity to advocate for snipers; they are my favourite unit :D

You probably should just put this on the main channel.
Sadly due to how the youtube algorithm works, putting less successful videos out on a channel can impact how often it shows your main videos to people. It's why a lot of creators have multiple channels for secondary games/topics.
Idk, I'm getting a bit overwhelmed by all the "OMG, a new upcoming RTS!!!" videos. I'm a huge fan of the genre, I closely follow the SC2 esports scene, and I'm glad that there are new hardcore RTS games being made. But even being such an overinvested nerd, I'm already a bit tired, and the yames aren't even out yet. Every studio has figured out that YT is key to marketing in the RTS niche, and every youtuber has been cranking out those vids as of late. It all ends up feeling a bit fake, like an ad and not genuine content made purely for entertainment value. I don't blame the casters nor the studios - the market is vicious right now, and game dev is such a risky business. But they need to tread carefully, and segregating most of the vids about Battle Aces for now seems like a solid decision by PiG. That way, it becomes an opt-in thing and not an opt-out thing. If you want more Battle Aces, you can find the channel and keep watching. If you're already inundated with "new RTS!!" videos, you don't need to do anything to avoid them.

Stormgate is a simplified SC, so not very cool for current SC players and still too hard for non rts players to get into. Battle aces is veery simplified, but still looks like it can be fun for sc players, and simplified enough for non rts players to get into. So my prediction is that this game will do better than stormgate

defensive play seems impossible without any way to wall out approaches, it feels like this game is nothing but counterattacks and gut punches
Theres definitely a lot of counterattacks and wild aggression at the highest level though sniper mortar + or falcon into 4th base is really common for slower pace games in the mid to high level, just rarer in the top 50 players right now. Printf reckons the turrets are actually good but hes the only one rn haha!

This game is super quick. Its fun but seems a bit unforgiving for my kind of an RTS! Can see it being popular with the current generation of ADHD-type gamers who just want fast action. Definitely not a bad watch, but I still prefer a 37 min SC2 Serral late game personally!

if i was you i would not split your content in that many channels!!
u don't know what game is going to be successful, just use the views now on the main and split the content later.
if he posts a battle aces video on the main channel and it gets far less views than his others youtube will promote all his videos less, hurting his other content. if they are on different channels then it can't drag down his existing content while the new game gains momentum
