I remember having a hard time adjusting to flat 2d visuals after having played the 3ds from launch to well after getting a Switch. I always thought that '3d adds little to gameplay' argument so stupid. Neither does HD, it just makes it much nicer too look at, and more immersive, arguably adding a lot to gameplay actually.

@@samuelc6246 Nexus basically takes the most iconic dungeons of each games and rewrite the maps, but there are five original maps with new navigation gimmick. 18 classes return and 1 new class + 1 hidden pseudo-class, but their skills get nerfed quite a lot to avoid overpowering. The game is actually long enough for you to try every class, and it's better if you buy the DLC for money and experience since grinding every class is time-consuming despite the experience-sharing accessory.

“Ever Oasis” should be considered one of the many forgotten 3DS games along with “Kid Icarus: Uprising” that’s just bias talking in particular for kid Icarus, especially for 1st party wise since these two titles didn’t really “wow” anybody with the overall lifetime sales.
Though I wouldn’t be surprised if ever oasis would at some point get ported to the switch one of these days. I mean if Miitopia can get a remastered release on switch, I don’t see why ever oasis couldn’t either.
“Liberation Maiden” is one of those forgotten gems on the 3DS. To think Suda51 had any involvement in that game is quite interesting to say the least.
I Wish Suda would consider making an actual sequel to the game. Heck, I’d love to see it release for the switch in HD.
And while Sure, liberation maiden did get a sequel to an extent but the gameplay was completely different and not handled by Suda himself plus the game never got localized and is stuck on the PSVITA, damn…
7th dragon iii is also another one I’d add to the list of forgotten games on the 3DS, coming out pretty late into the 3DS life. I still have hope that Sega would announce a new game for the series or just a remaster of iii would be just fine as well.
Anyways most of the games listed in this video I agree are pretty forgotten.
Stella glow is hands down my favorite Strategy RPG, personally it outshines FE:Awakening, FE: Echos, & FE:Fates imo as one of the most memorable and enjoyable yet challenging game in this genre of RPG’s.

nightsky is another great forgotten 3ds game! physics based platforming with easy and harder mode. legendary ambient soundtrack and elegant silhouette style graphics that absolutely pop with the 3d slider turned on.
i've been considering attack of the friday monsters, from what you showed here, looks like a fun space to explore!

Etrian Odyssey and Stella Glow? Instant like from me.
I discovered Etrian Odyssey with EO 3 and fell in love with the series. Since then I have managed to get all games except EO 2.
Also found Stella Glow in another video a couple of years ago, then bought a used physical copy and the digital version during an eShop sale.

What I like about Etrian Odyssey the most is that it gives you near complete freedom over your party , and doesn't hold your hands with situations that demand certain class combinations , with few exceptions I can think of which are mostly in the older games on the DS .
Though I have to say that Etrian Odyssey IV isn't the best . I would've recommended untold 2 or Nexus for newcomers

Another great video! How did I not know about Kokuga? Insta-buy for me! (Thankfully still available on eShop and not too pricey). It ticks all the right boxes. Supports 4 player coop local wireless download play, supports 3d, the card mechanic is pretty cool and gives it tons of replayability and makes way for lots of strategy (especially in multiplayer! All is not lost if someone still has a repair card). Just a very very cool game that I didn't know about til your video. Thank you! If it supported c-stick directional shooting it would be even cooler.

You really gotta talk about Shin megami tensei 4 n it's sequel Apocalypse.
Also the Dillon's Rolling Western Trillogy with the third game Dead Heat Breakers being the best, removing mandatory touch controls to play and being the easiest of the trillogy, making it beginner friendly also it doesn't require newbies to play the previous two games.

I remember Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars, Soul Hackers, and Etrian Odyssey.
At the very least Soul Hackers was lucky to be updated for the 3DS and even more so be localized. The same can't be said for the original Devil Summoner. Even with Atlus considering localizing it years ago in the days of the Saturn.

It’s coincidental that you posted a Nintendo 3DS video and just several days later, Nintendo announces they will drop support of some features of their online services for both, the Wii U and N3DS. That announcement should prompt you to make more N3DS related videos.
    Some topics could be:
    1. Physical games to buy ASAP
2: The true power of the N3DS
    3. Games that take full advantage of 3D
    4. Best racing games
    5. Hidden gems; digital & physical
    6. Unreleased N3DS games
    7. N3DS games not released in the West
    8. Best shooters
    9. Genres not fully represented
    10. Exclusive (non-first party) games

I always hated card games within games, like the one in Final Fantasy IX which it is mandatory to play at least one round of because Zidane is all over that game, and also here in Friday Monsters. The card game is not the meat and potatoes of the game, so I feel it just halts my exploration. Also, the whole "pretending to enchant the other kids" by winning a game of rock paper scissors was just stupid. That aside, a very charming game atmospherically, that like My Neighbour Totoro, really makes me wanna try to live in the rural countryside of Japan.

What a gem, simple yet short. It's almost a shame that not many others of the 4-pack games vol collections made it west. I should reply this again someday soon.
•Stella Glow is a fantastic swan song. I somehow managed to preorder the wrong version, but was able to return it for the correct collectors edition. The soundtrack is such a variety of charm to evil chaos (Eve's song is the creepiest metal theme, and I love it.)
I am sad that the studio had to close down, as their final game was certainly signs that things might have continued to improve in the future.
    •Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars
This was my 2nd 3DS game. I really enjoyed playing it back at the time. It hasn't aged the best, but it is still a game I should reply just to finally get to the end. (I think I made some mistake that made the game harder and saved it. Something that made me think I had to restart and made me rage quit near the end. Lol)
