Thanks so much for this. Got the police riot and LSPD transport van. Somehow pulled off both of them on my first try.
Only issue is how often they despawn when positioning the other vehicles, I turned my back for a second to steal the taxi and the riot van completely vanished. I definitely recommend saving it after each stage since this game loves to despawn everything if you move 5ft away

I finally got the glitch to work after 2 days of trying, but not how I wanted it. I was trying to save a Riot Police Van but thanks to Trevor having to be all fancy getting out of the small car I would be too late, but the one time I managed to get him to get another car in that isn’t the main small car, it was the taxi. 🤦

Not patched, took a few tries but I got it to work! It works fine, and if you have trouble with it, get the truck you want, a random street car, and the taxi as shown in the video, then break off the driver door for the street car and truck. Now QUICK SAVE the game so you can repeat forever!

@@2PILOTPRODUCTION I've put a fire truck in it, in fact I've even put a prison bus in it, which is harder because the animation to enter the prison bus is extremely slow. Are you sure you're getting the timing right? It takes a few tries.
@@M4RKSMN I do then when it goes garage it goes outside but when I grab a vehicle it goes out the garage

Thanks! Yeah we submitted this to his discord. He found saving the vehicle too hard though and gave up lol, he only showed getting into garage mode but nothing else.

oh, this makes sense, right before you go into the garage, you leave the car you're in, and if you are quick you can get in another car and the game will think thats the car you originally was tryna store and store it

Thank it worked. However I found it much easier if you reverse the little car to provide a shorter path to the target vehicle...
Good! Yeah, personal preference. I am so used to running through car that I actually screw up more often when reversing, lol.

@@LethalVaccine what they should do is make a gta single player game that you actually have to do very hard missions to steal or repo special cars. But those days are long gone. Gta is a joke online with everyone flying around. It's a car game not a jet game.

Eu guardei DOIS Liberators nas garagens de Franklin e Michael, mas só dá pra fazer isso se forem rebaixados na tunagem. Consegui guardar dois na garagem externa de Trevor atrás da boate. Na garagem de Trevor no deserto não teve jeito. As rodas não passam.
can confirm in 2023 this glitch still works! i managed to store the red towtruck and a phantom semi truck

Where did you find that LSDPW van? I just tried to save one but messed everything up and I didn’t get it. And it’s like the perfect maintenance vehicle too.
It can rarely spawn in industrial areas of LS. It does not have scripted spawn spots
@@MrPhantomYT ah ok thank you, at least I know it isn’t just a one time spawn. By ‘Industrial Areas’ do you mean like the power stations (which is where I found mine) or somewhere around cypress flats?

I tried with micheal and went to get a car and taxi and the big vehicle disappeared but I don’t use Franklin or Trevor because there is important police vehicles inside.
Now that my short comment is out of the way, I hope I'm not the only who didn't have any problems mastering this tehnique. I can do it first try almost always and I just can't see what's so hard. :/

You can only get metallic black and that only on Xbox 360/PS3. No other way to paint trucks

You can double the amount of garage save slots you have by duplicating the quicksave!
I hope this helps someone like it helped me. I now have 2 saves for direcor mode, one entirely filled with every police vehicle.
How to do it?
If you have an empty quivksave slot, make an identical save file. There are a total of 12 vehicle garages in singke player. I put 12 police vehicles in quicksave slot 1, and 12 other vehciles in quicksave slot 2 for example, if I don't want to play as a cop in director mode.
Question so if I do this right and I went into director mode and I wanted to spawn that vehicle would I be able to choose it?

How do I get the prison bus into the garage since the doors are on the right side instead of the left side?
Try placing bus on other side
Initially this glitch didn’t work for me as I was doing it way to fast. The second to last time I did it, I didn’t reach the car in time. Eventually I got into the 3rd car by removing the doors. This glitch still works for Xbox 1.

Does this still work ive done this last year and worked perfectly doing it again with money truck as franklin and i keep falling through the map and don’t get into truck
If you fall through the map, that means you might be entering the garage too early which causes you to fall through the map. Try to enter the garage a few microseconds before the radi dialogue ends.

Can you explain to me what you meant by storing the tank by the gentleman’s club. Like why would you store it there, and wouldn’t it despawn?
You can store it there, but it is even safer to store it to hangar. Hangar saves tanks. But I have not succeeded with storing tanks to this garage yet.

Just put it on the other side of the door..

Edit: Got it, works 100% legit. I took the door off. Warning, save if you mess up and your trying to store the police riot or police transporter.
Works as of the Chop Shop update! It's hard and requires some tries, but it is soooooo worth it!

@@MrPhantomYT And thanks to this glitch and another to get the FIB Buffalo into Story Mode, my police car collection is complete, other than the online exclusive ones. From what I can tell, you are one of the only people to cover this, and you are a small CZcamsr.
Not many people are interested in police vehicle collections I guess lol.. and it's a bad quality video anyways, from back in the day.
My cars are dissapearing anytime i fail and i have to load a save and this process is looping to nothing
There's a little teleporting glitch you can teleport into the cars and storm in the garage like that at

Your big vehicle is maybe too close to small car? Since it is not fixed, it still works..
Also, if I park the car backwards, and it enters backwards, will it still work? I'll try.... okay it works
It will. But yeah, try it first and then ask if you face issues lol.. or just tell people it works.
