I just cleaned my shower doors with your method and OMG it works!!! Thank you so much!!!
You're welcome!!
That's worth trying good tip appreciate it .Cheaper than all these cleaning agents that don't work.THANK YOU
No problem 👍
I was hesitant at first since but It worked! Thank you!🙏
Great!
This worked amazingly well! Thanks!
Great to hear!
This worked great for me. Thank you!
Awesome, thanks for watching.
I have tried each one of these products individually, but nothing worked. I followed your recipe and VOILA! It worked. I think the time of letting it set for 20 minutes is key. I have been frustrated for the past couple of years. Excellent. I put towels down outside the shower and did the same for the glass, though there were not hard water spots on the outside. Great job. Thanks.

Thank you! I’ll let you know how well it works 🤞🏻🙏🏻
Good luck!!
Reselling a home and the bathroom shower had a lot of hard water spots that wouldn’t come off with a magic
Eraser and an hour of trying other methods. Tried this even though was skeptical of using so much dawn. It worked like a champ! Thank you so very much for making this video!!!!!
Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you this works very well!
Glad it helped!
Very helpful! Thanks!
You're welcome!
Tried it today, it worked great on my clear glass shower doors.
Awesome!!
works great!
Good to hear!
Nice man!
Thanks!
I watched a car detailer take spots off the windshield. After he cleaned and dried the glass he put carwax on and hand ❤buffed it off. I wonder if that would help you to not have to scrub so much. Might be worth doing a little section To see if it helps before doing the whole thing.
Great tip!
LEMON JUICE ...is what I keep forgetting. Thank you.
Welcome 🙂
My guess based on your accent is you’re from Utah. Thanks you for this video, I’m going to try it.
Good guess and good luck!
Did you warm up the cleaning mixture or just spray it on as is?
In my case I sprayed on as is. I have read you can warm up solution in a microwave.
I've not tried this yet. Question: Is it necessary to clean the glass first or will this knockout soap scum too? I've cleaned and scrubbed with other cleaners and even the soap scum won't go away without my arm falling off.
In my case I didn't try to clean the glass before using the solution.
Note to everyone: if the hard water stains are old(one year and even sometimes sooner) then nothing but buffing out the hardwater will work. I've tried and wasted my money on " guaranteed solutions" and have even contacted a friend in the glass installation business and nothing will save old, etched in, hardwater on any glass.
Thanks for the information.
After its clean I use rain x car wash occasionally too
Good information, thanks for posting.
Note: Bar Keeper Friend just helped removed 4 yr old water spots!
Just want to confirm, you are using the scrubber side of the sponge? Not the soft side?
Yes
Worked great! Thank you so much!
@@Wraithix88Great!
Unfortunately it didn't work as directed. I think I waited too many years. I'll just get new doors from Lowes, where I got these.
Sorry to hear that. I wonder if your glass has been treated.
@@Iscaper Yes, I remember when I bought it from Lowe's they said it was treated.
@@Iscaper Ah! Did some research online. 100% white vinegar works with a sponge on treated glass. Thanks!

I just tried the whole thing with baking soda too and nothing .. I am going to just cover it all up with the frosted glass vinyl application like I did on some windows and that way it looks clean 🧼
I followed your instructions exactly for the solution. It is currently sitting on the glass for 20 minutes. I used 8oz Dawn dish soap, 8oz white distilled vinegar and 2oz lemon juice. I will update my comment once I have completed all steps so you all know my outcome:
You never did
@julieb7093
Did it work? I’m planning to clean my shower doors today and if it worked, I’d like to try it.
Some say the solution is still sitting there today
Quick question,
please ... 🤔🤔🤔🙄 how do you do the outside exterior, WITHOUT getting water everywhere??? Thank in advance, happy holidays and GOD BLESS IN JESUS NAME❤❤❤
P.S. I recently moved to a small studio downtown and of course my restroom is MUCH MUCH SMALLER. I only have a shower (decent size) and toilet thats seperated from the sink & mirror. Use to be a motel that management decided to renovate. So I'm trying to figure out how NOT to get water EVERYWHERE. Although I have to DEEP CLEAN THE ENTIRE UNIT b4 I settle in. Hopefully you catch my drift. Lol thanks again and my apologies for the long comment.
I used glass cleaner with vinegar to clean the outside glass.
@@Iscaper what's the ratio of glass cleaner to vinegar?
@@SaintSteven67 I didn't use glass cleaner in the solution. In a 24 ounce spray bottle I added 8 ounces of white vinegar, 8 ounces of Dawn dish soap, and a couple ounces of lemon juice.
THANK YOU VERY HELPFUL AND CHEAPER THAN OTHER PRODUCTS THAN DONT EVEN WORK. APPRECOATE VERY MUCH
