Phone design becomes matured here now only needed good battery with high speed charging
innovation should not be used on impractical things for example the galaxy fold, which was infact pretty innovative but the folding phone was pretty impractical because of the durability of the phones are heavily compromised, and tbh at the price of a folding phone we can get both phone and the tablet which gets the job done and job the fold phone promises to do, innovation of the phones should be done on the durability for example synthetic alumina sapphire glass for front and back panel in flagship, way to improve the strength of the frame in phones etc.

LG was best in innovation but Nokia cashed in most through innovation yet it lost to change that was need of time. Samsung played most safe and invested in core components mfg .

Can't agree with this video. Blackberry, Nokia, etc died because of lack of adaptation to the latest tech when it comes to operating systems. Neither did they adopt Android, nor did they make their OS in line with what iOS introduced. Speaking of LG, yes they were one of the most innovative but their marketing was not enough and they used to release phones after over 6 months of announcements and their UI looked like a cheap version of Samsung's. HtC simply stopped making flagships and/or releasing them in major markets and began making generic phones. They axed themselves.
There wasn't much of excess of innovation role played by any of them during their downfall but quite the opposite.
Sony's phones are still innovative, but focused on the niche consumers and more to do with those who also have Sony professional cameras. They've exited a lot of markets as well.
