My grandpa got this car brand new and it was his pride and joy, now my father and I own it and we keep it cleaned and in mint condition. We both drive it on acasion and bring it to car shows but still keep the miles down AMAP, only 47344 miles on it currently and we wouldn't sell it for nothin! #dreamcar
The 69 Caddy were probably one of the prettiest Caddys ever made. That's tail lights were gorgeous. My father had one back in the day. My first car was a 69 Fleetwood Brougham.
As usual, the AC is messed up! I had this in red with a white interior & top. I had a '69 Black Cadillac limousine as well. AC was messed up too, even the rear heat. That car was cold in the back, on a trip to Raleigh one night. Don't you know I was mad! The black chauffeur wouldn't even get out to change the flat tire! I had to do it myself, while everybody stayed inside (including the chauffeur), where it was warm up in the front seat. Loved the cars though. Bless their little hearts.
Beautiful 1969 Convertible de Ville. My uncle back in 69 had a silver body, black top and burgundy leather interior. They were big then and still big today. The homes in the area are befitting such a car. Interesting our 1970 Cutlass Supreme was way more classier inside and a smoother ride. Even our 70 442 road better than the 69 and 70 deVilles and Eldorado. 69 was the only year they were no fins on deville or Fleetwoods
I'm in the process of purchasing my First 1969 472 that runs plus a 520 built Long Block . Besides it running normally, what rear end and gears do you suggest for Daily use ??? God Bless and Happy Holidays...
Dad had one. It would haul but. On the high about 18 mpg. That's staying out of the Qjet secondaries. If you had those in. It would be less than 10 mpg. But at 375 hp. What would you expect.
Our 69 has the same exhaust. Wrong muffler. We fixed the exhaust leak you hear in this engine compartment. A Cadillac should run a little more quiet and less exhaust sound.
I always loved the 69‘s. Those beautiful lantern stop lights in the back!!! Looks so much better than the 70 and 71s.
That's funny. It was exactly, those short taillights that I DIDN"T like and I liked the '70 better. You make me kind of like the short lights now.
