Cheers, really helpful. Did you ever mix your own contrast paints with a normal paint and the citadel contrast medium? Hows your experience with that?

That’s awesome to hear! I haven’t mixed with normal paints yet but I’ve got to give that a go. The contrast medium I’ve used a bit and that works nicely when laying contrast colours over each other. One nice combo is to use a coat of contrast Gryph hound orange then add a coat of 1/1 contrast medium/flesh teaser red. You get some nice highlights coming through from the Orange and some nice colours overall.
One painter I like is Kolectiv SG and I’m sure he’s mixed contrast with regular paints. His Cursed City minis were so good! Here’s a link if you like … czcams.com/users/KolectivSG
