Children's Lenten Retreat - A Disciple of Jesus in Suffering

As we celebrate the season of Lent, we invite all children to participate in St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish’s weekly retreat videos, each one explaining different ways to be disciples of Jesus. Each video will have a corresponding sticker, that can be collected the following Sunday during communion and put in your retreat booklet.
This week, we learn about what a disciple of Jesus in Suffering is. The challenge is to draw a picture of someone who is suffering, and draw Jesus with them, comforting them during their difficult time. Think about how you can help this person - how can you comfort or pray for them? If they are someone nearby, draw a picture to give to them too as a reminder that you are praying for them and that God is always with them.
Stickers for this week will be in a basket at the entrance by the big cross - if you aren’t able to attend mass on Sunday, they will be in the same spot all week for you to pick up when you get the chance.
