Had they fallen in love with each other at this point? I agree that her costume is a distraction and doesn’t do her justice. They’ve always been two good looking people, but honestly, I think they look better now 20 years later.

Interesting foray into another culture. I really wish they had chosen a slower version of the music, as the rhythm seemed to make it superficial.

annie h It is definitely a memorable FD, for sure, and I love the fact that they took this risk in the Olympic season! I feel that they tried a bit too hard in designing this program overall, in the musical arrangements, technical content, choreography (with a mix of Chinese, Thai/Indian and Japanese influences), to the costuming-and it all made the whole package seem less convincing. There is too much happening, with superficially-created rhythm that only slowed them down. This program would have been more successful, even w/ this costuming, if it were a bit subtler.

Beautifully skated. Her costume is a distraction though. It detracts and hides some of her elegant lines and movement.
