Man I love the little detail that Vulture was just getting absolutely plastered by Peter even with the other 4 to back him up. Definitely shows he's Peter's longest running supervillain. Peter knows his move before he makes it. Subtle character building.
The current comics should’ve taken some notes from this 😂

Spiderman is one unique marvel character you got to respect the maker of him hes just great so balanced and not overpowering
One thing I respect about Spider-man writers. They balance him, not OP and sometimes loses fight. But always learns from his mistakes and comes back. Whereas other heroes like Thor, Superman, Captain Marvel etc are always OP most of the time and it makes very boring stories.

Gotta respect Yuri Lowenthals performance in this scene. The pain in his voice almost felt as if someone in the booth was actually beating the shit out of him. I was terrified of this scene first time through.

This is definitely one of my favorite cutscenes in the entire game. The way Spider-Man gets destroyed really makes you feel the sheer hopelessness and defeat in this scene. Not to mention the whole buildup leading to Doc Ock's reveal. Once you finish watching it, you realize that things have only gone from bad to worse 👌💯

The screaming when he's electrocuted is brutal.
A few of the cutscenes near the end of the game are brutal. Like that time Doc Ock smashed Peter around after he beat Mr. Negative. He almost died because of that. And during a cutscene during the final battle, Doc Ock literally stabs Pete through the heart. And right before that, he clutches and electrifies Peter's wrists and break his web shooters.
Sorry for the paragraph, I just love this game and it's atmosphere so much.

Just a friendly reminder. Peter is controlling his strength just enough to not punch holes and/or break/fracture multiple bones in multiple areas fighting these villains.

Ninja Goobie The dude can lift 25 tons. Vulture, Martin Li, doc ock and electro are all normal humans other than the fact that they have power. They are as durable as an average guy (well probably not mr negative) by that logic, he could have easily taken their heads off. In the comics he holds back his punches so he doesn’t instantly kill his enemies.

Movie spider-men have their own set of abilities and the same goes for the games. Just because he could do something in a comic book doesnt necessarily mean he can do it here. Honestly scorpion is the real difference-maker in this scene. The rest of the villains are all really dangerous but spidey can handle them even when hes outnumbered. But scorpion's the one who actually gets that big shot in and brings him down to his knees.
I like how Peter was still fresh at the beginning of this fight, and was actually managing to deal with them before getting stung by Scorpion. Shows how strong and experienced he's gotten over the years. Would've been cool if he actually cut loose all the way and starting showing off some more of that brute strength of his. Like palm striking Scorpion into that antenna hard enough to leave a huge dent, or something like that. I also like the implied difference in his condition as the game goes on from here. Fighting all over the city non stop, defeating 4 members of the six in pairs, and finally defeating Martin with 14 broken bones, exhausted, and with god knows how many other injuries. Would've been tough as hell fighting those guys all at once in that condition, not even including Otto yet. Then there's the ass whooping he almost died from during his second encounter with Dock Ock. They really had him go all out in this game.
Honestly I feel what you said in the part about him showing off more of his brute strength. If I was Spider-Man and 6 of my worst enemies were fighting me all at once, I probably would've gotten stressed and desperate to the point that I get a lot more violent 😅

Vulture is the weakest out of the sinister six thats why spiderman kicked his ass in the game when your fighting these guys the only one I hate fighting is Mr negative he,s such a pain in the ass.
The weight of this whole sequence can't be understated. Especially on following playthroughs. Knowing that Otto knows that Pete is Spiderman and still does what he does is an awful feeling. This kind of scene encompasses everything I love about Spiderman as a character. He's a TRUE hero. Even in the face of impossible odds, facing SIX supervillians alone, he doesn't hesitate to take the fight. Because he knows there's no one else who can stop them
I love the fact that Spider-Man like Batman mostly takes out street level thugs, but can easily fight someone who is a multi universal threat

Avengers is more so a world wide threat.. however, Spider-Man is based in New York, so Spidey is the first line of defense. If he goes down, it’s up to someone else to step in. But like I said, this isn’t a world wide threat so I don’t see why the Avengers would go down there in the first place

This is one of my favorite scenes. The payoff of when Ock finally went bad mixed with the voice acting and the incredible acting on everyone's parts. I wasn't expecting everyone to break out, but all the details you notice new ones every time you watch it. This is one of my absolute favorite video games

Scorpian shooting that poison from his tail is what weakened spiderman. Before that, he was able to handle the fight successfully. Otto came in only after hearing Spiderman cry like a big baby when Electro shocked spiderman severely.

Rhino's design is my least favorite, plus Tatasciore basically made him sound like Hulk with a bit of a Russian accent.

I mean, a mad scientist who is also a murderer who tried to fry the planet takes over Spidey's mind and basically claims that he's a better hero and FOR SOME FUCKING REASON NOBODY BUT ONE PERSON NOTICES THE CHANGE even with SM literally killing Massacre, someone he prevented the cops from killing (which is stupid anyway), brutalizing Screwball and her partner (that's going a bit too far for a revenge at being pranked), etc.

Peter is incredibly tough, but for him to have incredible endurance would mean he would have to keep fighting regardless of the pain he feels which he did not demonstrate in this scene, he was grounded after getting stung by Scorpion, which then lead to the vicious beating he received.
Endurance is too keep fighting regardless of the pain you experience.

I absolutely love how most of the six have matching suits and tech. Specifically Otto, scorpion, vulture, and electro. Rhino likely didn’t have his suit upgrade because he wants to get out of the damn thing, and Martin doesn’t use tech or armor so he doesn’t have it.

Goblin being in the sinister six is such lazy writing because although he is arguably spider-man's arch-nemesis and main enemy, the green goblin actually fights other villains as well because he wants absolute control.
Gotta hand it to spidey, he went down swinging. And you can see the sorrow on ocs face after he tosses spidey, he knows who he is and he still loves him like a son. Great scene

First is Electro with his Stunning styling suit and his Electric Attack.
Second is Rhino also with his bulky greyish armor and his Strength.
Third is Vulture with his Jetpack and many capturing equipment.
Fourth is Mr. Negative with his Dark Force and Light Force Wave.
Fifth is Scorpion with his Paralyze poison on his Armor stings.
And Finally Dr. Octopus with his Long Arms like weapons.
All of them Know As Sinister Six.

2. He's fighting against all the six villains he fought before, he might know their weaknesses but they also do. They also have near-equal strength to spiderman, and Otto is even stronger as we'll see later.

I love this scene to bits, it looks stunning, the way they fight spidey together is just like the comic books, but finally the thing that does it for me in this scene is the voice acting. The panic is spiders voice when doc ock picks him up the pain and brokenness and betrayal in his voice when he says docs name. BEST FUCKING SPIDERMAN GAME IS EVER
