The Apni Shala Story - A documentary

Amol Narvekar, a documentary filmmaker, dedicated over six months to immerse himself in the lives of our students, educators, support team members, caregivers, donors, and other supporters, capturing the essence of our work.
The big questions he explored were -
- What is Social Emotional Learning (SEL)?
- How does it get systematised in schools?
- What is the relationship between education, mental health and SEL?
- What are some critical nuances of facilitating SEL with young people responding to systemic injustices?
- How can schools become communities of care and love for young people as they learn, grow and thrive in their learning spaces?
