The second story re: the med student who disappeared. You mentioned that she spoke to her mom on Facebook messenger the day before she disappeared, but Facebook messenger wasn't around in 2001.....
Probably meant she sent a message to her mom’s Facebook page...I reckon.

Mine was Theradbrad,but i have followed this channel for a long time now. Every video that ive seen is well done,interesting and has done a great job on the research. I use to watch Chills but alot of there videos are obviously fake. I hope there still making videos and content for a long time.

There are a lot of disappearances like Emma Philpot that involve late teens to early twenties. That's the age range when psychosis often manifests. It never seems to be considered.

As someone who developed psychosis as a teen I can totally see this being a factor in some of these disappearances. I was so paranoid and on edge constantly from hearing voices that if I hadn't been sectioned I think I'd have ended up dead for sure, whether by suicide or getting myself in a dangerous situation.
drug addiction is also a huge problem in British Columbia, so there's a very real chance that she was suffering from an addiction that contributed to her dissapearance (as well as her inability to face her mother). It's a very sad but not uncommon reality for a lot of Canadian families :/

I remember the Sneha case from Unsolved Mysteries. It was one of the most interesting segments of the last few UM Stack seasons(all Robert Stack episodes are great though). Suprised more people don't talk about this case. But, I don't think the UM segment mentioned her firing, substance abuse or sexuality. Maybe it did and I just don't recall it. That totally took me by surprise. The fact that she disappeared on 9/11 or the day before, already made this case very interesting.
Reminds me of being younger and staying up late to watch Unsolved Mysteries, it used to give me the creeps! Robert Stack had the voice that really made the show!

As a non native english speaker, I do have a lot of problems though to understand/follow the stuff he is saying. I think the best way to describe it, it sounds like mumbling. His voice is actually quite fitting for such a channel but I would prefer subtitles. And as far as I know, this channel started without any narration and just subtitles.

@BNS0892 I'm aware Benoit did do the murder. But the Wikipedia story makes it strange. Apparently, some dude who lives in the same city that WWE is headquartered in posted a story on Wikipedia saying that Benoit wasn't gonna make a show (I think it was Clash of Champions 2007) because his wife was dead. Around that time, he killed her, his son, and himself. But that wasn't public knowledge, let alone anything the police knew till the next day when they first learned of the incident and began investigating. Worst of all, the guy was let go after being questioned without police looking more into it

Yeah the Emma Fillipoff case always sort of haunted me, she looks like such a gentle soul. I really think the guy who ripped down her posters is involved and he probably did something to her. She obviously was afraid of him, that's why she was at a shelter and wanted to go home. I hope someday we have answers.

I love rabbit holes and getting lost in a story. The one with the guy supposedly slitting his own wrist got me. It seems there's WAY more than what's there,I can't wait to fall head first down that rabbit hole and hit every rock on the way down. I understood it differently- That they are gonna stop uploading on the cold case detective only the main research episodes(the one's where it's always about one person and they are more insightful like the Trevor Deeley(I don't remember how his last name was spell, but i'm sure you've seen it) or Elisa Lam etc.) They are still going to upload the "3 unsolved family murders" type videos on the cold case detective. At first I understood it like you did, so I listened to the beginning of this video a couple times, and now i'm convinced that the cold case detective as a channel isn't going anywhere- at least for now. God, I hope i'm right, I do love that channel a lot.
I am glad the Sneha Anne Phillip case was mentioned. I always felt the husband used 9/11 to cover up what he did. Their marriage was on the rocks for a while before the attacks; Sneha was possible lesbian or bisexual who spent nights out at gay clubs and did not come home until after her husband had left. They were also arguing at the courthouse on the morning of the 10th of September no evidence has ever been found that she died in the 9.11 attacks and, in fact, in 2004 a judge originally refused to add her name to the list of victims due the circumstances of her disappearance. Her husband and family are all lying and it just dont add up.

The lost young lady could have fell victim to a serial killer, there was a television program that pointed out cases of murder victims thought to possibly have been killed by one or more truck drivers.
With Sneha, was her shopping found in her apartment? Because if you were returning home, you surely would drop off your bags, if not, maybe she didn’t get home?
I’ve looked online, and apparently the bags were never found? Maybe she never returned home? Perhaps it was foul play? This case is so interesting though!

Regarding Sneha, the missing doctor. There is cc footage of her shopping with someone, most likely a woman on September 10th. Also apparently there was a partial lead that she was to meet someone at the Windows on the World restaurant on the 106 and 107th floors of WTC tower 1 the morning of September 11th. Best guess: she went shopping with a friend, went for drinks after, got tanked and slept at the friend's place. The following morning she died in the restaurant after tower 1 was hit.

I think Senha may have run off and started a new life due to her sexuality and her family used 9/11 so they didnt have to accept she was a lesbian and left her husband. But also it could be that she was murdered by her husband, as there was no mention there was evidence she would stay out late without telling him(other than his word) and when they said "she may have went out for some drinks that night" would there not be witness who saw her? And unless she had alot of money on her she would have used her card to buy drinks so would there not have then been bank statements? If it's the case of her husband murdering her he simply got lucky with the horrible attack and used that to explain her disappearance and her family helped him cover it up because of her other life and that's why the brother lied about the call.

This is a brilliant idea highlighting these cases while many people have extra time on their hands. Even many working from home are saving hours a day by not having to commute back and forth. All of these cases are fascinating and I sincerely hope that someone finds some answers for the families and loved ones. I’ve never heard of the road tiles mystery and that is my pick if I look into any of these. The Kubrick reference makes you wonder. Thanks for all you do.

Personally, the wildest online rabbit hole I ever went down, and changed aspects of my life to a point, was John Titor. I mean, it was years later and I knew it was complete bunk when he claimed to be an historian, yet answered questions in an asinine way (eg Q: “who won the World Series in 2002” A: “why would I have such knowledge... I am a HISTORIAN” oh feck off, 🙄)... but still, it was so compelling.
The Toynbee Tiles documentary is fascinating. I really recommend it.
I had just gone down the Sneha Phillips rabbit-hole myself a few weeks back, and the story is rather something. It should be said that it’s claimed that much of her problem at work and with drinking is alleged to have been caused by sexual harassment (and possibly assault) at work.

Charles C Morgan was another story that you read up on if you have a day and a half to dedicate. I saw a short video on him and decided to read up on him. No idea what I read, honestly. It felt like the basis of a sketchy novel.
