Solved this book way before Kota factory got established 🤣.
My late maternal grandfather, two of my late maternal uncles (all of them professors of Mathematics in CU and JU) also recommended books by S. L. Loney (Trigonometry, statics, dynamics & Coordinate geometry).
Most of my classmates aspiring to join IIT, University of Roorkee, etc usually following Aggarwal Classes and/or Brilliant Tutorials (both now closed) always followed these books. Incidently I am 54 plus years in age.
But this was a very very good and practical analysis of a most beautiful book in Trigonometry.
Most useful for all students.
You could have not have told your age and still I would have guessed it. :)
You are right, this book might have made Bansal famous not other way round. Any one doing preparation for IIT in mid 1980's onward will have this, along with Eurodov. And I think Brilliant is still around, though have lost all its glory.

In those days one book is also famous Algebra by Kalipada Basu.

I have fully finished the trigonometry book from logarithm to sot(leaving inverse because its syllabus of 12th) and i can say u it's one of the best!!! I have strted my jee prep 7 month ago and already im the strongest in trig you should do every excersise of it its worth it
This books is famous from mid 1980s that I am aware of. Not sure when this was used in Kota. That time it was not even used to JEE. :)

There are two series; one by Loney and one by Ramsey. Both were in use in 50's and 60's when I was in college. Ramsey is generally considered the harder one.

First Complete whole 10th Syllabus (maybe Use RD Sharma 10th PDF) , then use 11th NCERT Maths PDF to just read and understand theory and maybe on Sunday's do some 1 shot classes of 11th Maths, after that you should go for a book maybe Cengage books
Edit : Do Cengage only if you have plenty of time like since you are in 10th so you can pick
But if your time passes and you haven't started while in 11th mid then don't go for it

Just practice bhai me abhi 11 m hu jab 10 m tha na to m to sochta tha paper m sab attemp krunga trigonometry chodke . Lekin jab dhere dhere practice ki aur ab hote h sawal tun practice kro
Just solve as many questions as possible being your senior it's my advice to you.

Before 1 month I was also very weak in 8.4 but practising lots of questions now it's very easy for me .

Sir Ramanujan ne jo book solve kia tha woh ye wala book nahi tha. That book was S L Loney Advanced Trigonometry which was a graduation textbook in that time.
