I love the way Phil stood up for Ben here. Too bad he then went back to acting like Jonno and manipulating Ben into getting involved in the whole sheanu shit. But I'm happy again with him for last night and I think coming fully into reality and the light and realizing that staying there in Walford with his real family was and is what's best for him and his family. I also loved the way he finally told him that he loves him without any strings attached and that he is proud of him and to call him his son. Jonno was such an idiot for trying to go up against Ben

Phil is an example of tolerance. Tolerance in the sense of acceptance. He probably still ain't totally on board with the idea of a gay son. But Ben IS his son, family defends family and that's who is he. If you can't like it, at least accept it.

Just to be fair we do the exact same thing to Jonno to stop him from coming back and causing issues. Then we stick Peter Beale in with them to protect our wonderful Jaybe and Lola. So that their whole real big beautiful wonderful perfect amazing loving protective loyal kind caring affectionate family can have the happiness together forever and always no matter what happens.
