Sade's songs take me back to the time when my parents were married and they would play her CD in the car while we traveled. Even though they separated, whenever I listen to the songs on this album I feel like that time, watching them holding hands... A good, innocent time. This is my way of going back in time.

When I close my eyes and just listen to her music, I really appreciate what they did in the studio recordings. But when I watch her live performances in the 1980s, I appreciate her music even more. She is an amazing artist.

@@susanjohnson2068 Sade Adu was born in 1959. When she was in her 20's during the 1980's she hit the big time with her live performances and recordings. In 2023 she is in her 60's. Her music is timeless, but time marches on for people. She is at an age where many people are ready for retirement. Thankfully we still have her music to enjoy.

Antonia ch I can't tell you how badly I want this. Most of her videos look like they were shot on film, though the Soldier in Love clips would have almost certainly been shot and mastered digitally (so they'd be stuck at 1080p forever).
And all on glorious UHD Blu-ray, please. CZcams's excessive compression wouldn't do it justice. I would love Kate Bush's videos to receive the same treatment as well.

DCTV DubzCo What is DPSI? Do you mean DPI? Scanning film is not the same as running paper through a scanner. Older films are restored at higher resolutions all the time. There are films dating back to the early 1900s that have been scanned and restored at 2K/4K, including the surviving elements of the world's first feature-length film (The Story of the Kelly Gang, 1906) which I was fortunate enough to procure the Blu-ray of before the National Film and Sound Archive stopped selling physical media.
There is plenty of information available if you want to learn more about film restoration. Most of the classic Sade videos would have been captured on film, so they absolutely can present them in 4K (or even higher if they wish) if the negatives still exist. Videotape, however, has a set resolution and cannot be increased (except for upscaling, which arguably does more harm than good).
@@sillygostly this is simple, if youve recorded at 24 fps at 720p you can not upscale it to 60fps 1080 or anything higher same as audio if recorded at 44khz it cant be upscaled to 48khz yes you can make it converted to a higher bitrate but you will never get increased quality that wasnt there in the beggining do you do this work for a living I have for 20 years nearly so maybe ive been earning money by mistake all this time
