- Ryan Hayashi, The Motivational Master Magician With A Message, demonstrates his mind-bending 3-phase Matrix Trilogy coin routine. This routine is now available from Ryan Hayashi as a tutorial video download at: sellfy.com/p/giPQ/
Ryan originally sold his Matrix Trilogy in 2004-2006 in his lecture notes, which he sold at his lectures. In 2007-2017 he sold the instructional video in DVD form at his lectures. Hayashi blew away the magic community when he won the 2017 FISM European Championships with his Ultimate Matrix, and became known to the general public when he fooled Penn & Teller with the act of FOOL US in 2018. Now that the world is beginning to pay attention to his genius work, he has decided to sell his teachings as video downloads. - Zábava
The dedication that these skills require is insane !!
Yes. Dedication and consistent training. I enjoy it though, so it doesn't feel like training for me. It feels like moving meditation. Ryan Hayashi
The closer you look the more fascinating it gets... Such a great artwork! Can't wait to get fingers twisted practicing :)
Thanks. Glad you like it. Enjoy my tutorial. Ryan Hayashi
@@HayashiTheMagicMan 2:20 , little mistake with the orientation of the coin. Otherwise amazing as always!
After watching that, I was like "What's happening with that DVD case? WHAT IS HE GOING TO DO WITH THAT DVD CASE?" Turns out he's just holding a DVD case. I guess this is the psychological damage Ryan is talking about.
@3:26 You see all 3 coins go under the card... no weird sketchy movements, nothing!!! How, just how????? You're too talented, Mr. Hayashi.
The four chinese coins going back to their places gave me actual headache
Glad to hear I hurt your brain. Ryan Hayashi
Probably not a coincidence that the camera panned up before that one... 🤣
Not sure about the gold coin, but i have 6 male colleagues and 3 are gays. Just assumption. Very nice trick.
Massimo Romanini lol me to
Ryan Hayashi your awesome
The great thing about Ryan is that I know how the trick is done with a little Googling and searching on CZcams. But how he does it is simply masterful and I enjoy it even more.
Your passion is amazing. Thank you.
Ryan the last thing you did there is freakin overpowered, nice job man and keep going
Ryan is one of my favorite magicians. I watch his videos repeatedly. I know how he does everything up to 2:53. But it does the opposite of spoil it (for me). Instead, it makes his art even that much better because of how masterful his presentation is. Magic is art (to me), and Ryan is a brilliant artists.
Wow. This is truly incredible
You are a genius sir
People like you, Kainoa, Ponta and DG made me feel that there is more organic'ness' in coin magic and it has changed my perception towards coin magic. I'll buy this when I pay my debts off. Much love
Perfect. The last phase of the Chinese coins made me do a few takes.
Hi Ryan, Awesome as always. Can't wait to get these. 👍👍👏👏
Robert , will you be learning to do this? Maybe you could post some of your progress (that doesn't give away the moves). I don't think I could learn to do this- but it would be fun to watch someone else struggle with it-- I mean , succeed at it.
Enjoy. Let me know what you think of the tutorial. Ryan Hayashi
everytime i think i get it i get wrecked i give up .just enjoying the tricks from now on
Can’t wait to buy
Great video
Mind blowing!
Great matrix nice,wonderful sir
I can figure out how one coin moves from one card to another during one part. But otherwise everything else is unknown to me. Really awesome.
the "fun" trick you showed is the only one im still 100% wanting to learn. its just i cant find it anywhere i look. id love to perform it but it just seems that part of the performance is just so kept secret that no one wants to sell the secret.
WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!!!
You flashed a bit but you are just amazing
Επιτελους ενας ελληνας ο οποιος βλεπει Rayn Hayashi
Hey Nice video.
Thanks.
Excellent as always. I'm thinking abount getting the tutorial for the coin matrix. What's the skill level required to do all the 6 phases?
It is a three-phase routine with additional phases that can be used as replacement phases to deal with different performance conditions. Skill level required? That depends. To watch and understand it, 1 out of 10. To learn it, 3 out of 10. To make it flow, 5 out of 10. To make it look beautiful, 10 out of 10, like all of magic.
@@HayashiTheMagicMan perfectly explained, the difficulty of the method doesnt affect the impact of the trick on an audience who dont know the method or its difficulty, it's the performance that matters, and yours is quite literally amazing.
@@HayashiTheMagicMan please tutorial in youtube
that extra last one...not sure if that coin sound touching each other was intentional when you slide them inside but it added more psychological dmg when you revealed them....just how...only managed to figure how the upper right coin got there after rewinding many times but i can't figure the 2 in the left side.....same thing when the japanese coins appeared.....i know how the right side showed but not the 2 in the left side.....ah that left side.....damage critical...
If you look at the left bottom and top, the coins change position after they are revealed, so while covering the coins with a card, he drops a second coin under the card(When covering the previous coins with a card, he picks them up and drops them on the left side), so at some point there are 4 coins on the left side. This makes me believe he is using 5 coins instead of 4 idk xD. so when he moves the 3 coins to the bottom right card, at that moment there is no coin under that card. after he reveals the coins he takes one from underneath the card and puts it in the top right corner, how defuck that third coin disappears, IDFK. It is driving me crazy, I cannot explain the part with only 4 coins. You can hear him stacking one coin on top of another one, this has to do something with that 5th coin disappearing. How he does it idk.
PS: card positions are described from my point of view not his.
I was just saying to myself that I could follow where he keeps all the coins... and then he brings four more
Oh this is the three phase routine
at 1:18 I can see Hayashi placing the coin at the top right (from viewer) corner. is there any way to make that cleaner or is it just something you have to power through?
please don't take that as disrespect though: most amazing coin matrix guy in the world and I'm super stoked on planning on learning some of this!
do I need any kind of special tools to perform this trick? if yes, then do u teach card tricks or anything that focus more on sleight of hand rather than using tools?
This entire trick is purely sleight of hand. No gimmicks or anything.
Super gemacht!! Hast du eigentlich vor irgendwann wieder bei Penn und Teller aufzutreten? Grüße aus Landau!
Performers who have fooled Penn and Teller are only rarely invited back onto the show to do a second act. Ryan Hayashi
@@HayashiTheMagicMan oh ok, got it! thanks for answering! btw are you currently living in mannheim?
@@yoman1991 Yes. I am living in Mannheim.
I watch your matrix over 30 times and still get damaged. Go away! 😵
Are the tutorials available as a streaming video for mobile devices if you don’t have a computer?
dude,buy a puter
No
It drives me insane because I know how you do it, but you do it so cleanly that I can't see it unless I watch in Slo-mo
I'm pretty sure I now have permanent brain damage trying to keep up with all the moves.

Hah nice it’s a mix up but still got it. But I feel like you used 1 extra coin. But the trick is thought there so nicely it’s amazing. Wait nvm now my brain is damaged
Yeah, if you look closely, he uses 4 extra giant gold coins
Could you please reveal if you used 5 chinese coins?
Free tutorial pls
Wait where tf did the chinese ones come from
I am one with the Force. Ryan Hayashi
Ryan Hayashi may the force be with you
I’m actually losing my mind. I can never figure out how he does the one with the 3 coins going under 1 card to then be sent back to the corners. He literally sends them through a goddamned portal or something. Psychological damage? More like brain damage from hitting my head against a brick wall
You never did release anything new to your store? Not something you want to do anymore?
Thats inspired by ponta the smith isn‘t it? I recognize some of these moves
No. Ponta The Smith did amazing coin work in 2010. I first published my Matrix Trilogy routine in 2004. Ryan Hayashi
Can you please sell a cd and Not a Video pls
No DVD sales. Only video downloads.
@@HayashiTheMagicMan my Patents said when IT doesnt work then its wasted money
@@HayashiTheMagicMan and should i download IT on Handy or on pc
@@marcelriebler751 Download to a computer.
@@HayashiTheMagicMan i know how to Do it
Ryan, the psychology damage is real.. gotta be more Chinese coins.. gotta be 7.. must be 7
japanese coins are hidden under the carpet is my guess, u just mix them in smooth af
What?? The Chinese coin killed my brain
It takes years to perfect the routine. Absolutely not for beginners. Knowing how it works is one thing, nobodys likes a know-it-all.
Stop it
The thing you do for fun is fooling me every time
EVEN IF I PLAY IN 0.25 TIME AND REPEAT EVERY TIME....
Bro i learnt the whole trilogy just watching the video but i cant inderstand the last one!
