This is happening on my 18 S3. I will try it out and report back. I have already replaced the interior fuse (f29) which looked okay but wanted to rule it out.

Looked last night and found no bare wires. I even jiggled some to make sure they would not short out. I could not find a ground screw like that on mine. I did find the oem dome light (led board) is buzzing when turned on. I cannot find anything and or anyone that has replaced the board due to failure. I am leaning towards replacing the board which looks like you can only buy the whole dome assembly.

Hey man you’ve helped me in the past and Im jn desperate need of help again. I had a cracked head on my 1965 mustang straight six so I got a new head from jeff jones. I installed it and put new pushrods and now the thing just turns on then off sometimes backfires. All wires are set up right, carb just back from shop today its fine. Is it possible my push rods are to long? What should i do?

It's really hard to troubleshoot something like that with broad information. Sure it's possible, but very doubtful. It is likely another problem and not the pushrods. Could be anything from a vacuum leak to ignition issues.
