I LOVED the Limeliters. I had the privilege of meeting and chatting with Lou Gottlieb at a concert intermission in Cleveland Ohio so many years ago. I'll never forget those moments.
I also met Glen Yarborough several times in Taylor Texas at a mutual friends studio where they were recording new tunes several times. Nice guy. I acted like a kid in a candy store around him. God I miss those guys and their unique concerts.
It is so sad to see Alex Hassilev growing so old. I'll always think of him in his younger days.

I knew he'd retired. I wasn't sure if he was still around. He's changed so much, yet STILL recognizable-- and THAT VOICE hasn't changed a bit! I've been listening to The Limeliters since the EARLY 60s. (Now I'M in my early 60s...heh.)
