There are so many different ways of making decorations. I love this way with the palm tree a bit of work though with the leaves but effective.

Hello Mr Yenner! I've just made the palm tree branches - I now need to make the trunks. I hope you see my message by the weekend... I desperately need your help please as
I have a problem 😕 My branches are very pretty, however they're somewhat wider and the tip which is supposed to attach to the trunk, isn't pointy enough like yours to insert into such a tiny cone. Also, because my branches are bigger, I made fewer. So without any wires now, how will I attach them? I never thought of pinching the tip at the time... Shall I leave a small piece of the trunk dowel uncovered at the top, make a larger cone and insert it to the top of my trunk instead and then insert the branches???

soak the skewer in water and bend it with a gentle gas torch flame.
