my favorite line is cut out.
Paulie: "Why they carrying him?"
Mickey: "He's walking."
yeah, that's right that was a classic line
Paulie?? I thought Rocky said that :P
Romanos Zangelidis No...
Paulie Says : Why are they carrying him
Mickey Says : He's walking
rocky actually doesn't say a word
Okay Thanks ;)
Romanos Zangelidis hey Yo...You're Welcome
Honestly, Hogan showed a ton of on-screen charisma and presence, too bad his agent sucked at getting him the right gigs. He could've had a legit action-movie career.
at least his wrestling career never went downhill even after this.
ya, agreed... No Holds Barred was a great wrestling movie, if not the best... featuring him... he did a great job.
For those who saw it or remember it, Thunder in Paradise was a decent tv action show for Hogan. Jack Lemmon's kid fouled it up with his wise-cracking that wasn't really all that funny. Hulk should've body slammed him right off of the show.
The problem with him having an action career would be the gunfights, there aren't many objects in the world that could give him cover. Bullets don't care how strong you are, and they love it if you are a big target.
There are certain qualities that make one a good actor. One of them is tone, the believability the emotion in their voice. The Hulkster has zilch here. He sounds like he's reading directly off a cue card. He got slightly better in later acting roles, but his movies, all of them, and the short-lived Thunder in Paradise tv show, were all truly horrible movies by any standard. Even from a position of credibility, they relied too much on campy, cheesy jokes, rather than substance, utilizing generic plots that had been seen many times before in film.
Bottom line, Hulk Hogan is the biggest wrestler of all time, bigger than Austin, or the Rock(at least in the wrestling world), Flair, etc. - and he should've stayed in that realm. His acting gigs should have been ones akin to Arnold in Terminator - characters that are supposed to show a lack of emotion, and given few actual lines.
'RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!' is never a good thing to hear from your corner.
lol
LOL
"¡¡¡RUN BITCH RUN!!!"
-Mick
Lol!!😂
Lol Mickey kills me
I think Rocky Balboa is the only guy in the 80s who didn't lay down for the 3 count after Hogan's Leg Drop
Privateo Privy He was "Hulk Hogan" then. This film came out just when he was becoming a WWF star. Good timing.
Privateo Privy Sorry, PP, my point was he was just getting famous."Hulk Hogan" was just getting big, "Thunderlips" was a name created for the film.
the name thunderlips gets me every time.. lmao....
Privateo Privy Thunderlips was just a name for the film if your gonna say something get your facts straight first
ALTER EGO OK, let me explain this. he was hulk Hogan already, the used the name thunderlips as a fictional character that was very similar to Hulk Hogan just like Rocky Balboa is a ficiontal name in the move as no one calls him silverster stallone in the movies.
Hulk Hogan, Mr T and Sylvester Stallone all in the same room!! Humanity is saved.
Was Rocky III the inspiration for Wrestle Mania?
David McGinnis i don't think that Sly was the reason that Hogan returned in WWE in 1983 to become a megastar at his peak
David McGinnis Not sure.., I don't think so....The Rocky movies were based on a fight Ali had with Chuck Wepner.(Not based on Marciano as some believe) ALSO.., in 1976 I think it was..Ali fought a big 6'3" 240 lb Japanese wrestler. It was supposed to be for charity and Ali thought it would be faked but Inoke was all business and was really trying to take Ali out. Stallone I beleive took inspiration from that.
SR71BBFLYER Very good points made here, but the story I read in Ali's biography by Thomas Hauser was that the Japanese guy was shit-scared and didn't fight properly, and instead adopted a sort of crab-like scuttling posture and spent his entire time in the 'fight' kicking Ali's shins: Ali had to go to hospital to get multiple blood-clots in his legs treated. It was probably as farcical as the encounter in Rocky III.
Richard Aston LOL! Pretty close to the truth Richard. I saw the fight. The Japanese guy spent a lot of time on the floor trying to draw Ali into grappling with him. Ali even climbed the ropes at one point to avoid the leg kicks.

Rocky's son: is daddy having fun?
Adrian: of course
Lol :)
And yet 17 years later, those same words were exchanged between Mick Foley's daughter and wife... and the lie was impossible to maintain.
Liars go to hell
thats one way to say your daddy’s getting killed
You gotta be a dumbass lil kid to see your dad get beat the shit out of by hulk hogan and then have the audacity to ask if that poor bastard is having fun
Rocky threw Hogan out of the ring that was pure strength. That was real. Stallone said that was really him getting slammed by Hogan in the match. He was tough enough to take it.
Nobody can do that in real life lol even people who's 6 ft wouldn't do that to someone who's 7ft up lol.
All they do is go like
"I'm taller than Stallone" yet they can't do that Stallone did lol
Bowens92 no
Then Stallone spit up blood afterwards
WHAT UP? Steroids
He broke his ribs filming Rambo, he's tough as hell.
When Paulie broke the chair on Hogan's back, that's how they got the idea for ECW.
Khalfrank Well, I have nothing against Asians or mom jokes for that matter. But if you're gonna go there, at least be creative and give it to someone who's asking for it.
Lucky Bastard He has no evidence to prove it :P
Khalfrank Who cares? Racism is when you actually hold someone back in life. What kind of weak person are you?
Lucky Bastard WTF LOL
Khalfrank Hypocrite? Not at all. You must have misunderstood something.
I love how Thunderlips starts tossing the ref and the cops.
Kevin Sullwold I would LOVE to see that on RAW..
The hulkster puts noone over, brother!😂
How does he not get arrested for throwing the cops?
what if a cop shot him 20 times and he died and rocky wins by default?
I was wondering what would break first, your spirit or your body.
so that's where dark knight rises got that from
it looks like the same OTT backbreaker that Bane delivers on Batman doesn't it.
Meg Griffin I think The Dark Knight Rises got a LOT of stuff from Rocky III.
@@flmbyz bruh I never really thought about it til now holy shit
Ow! My spirit!
Anyone notice the ring announcer say 'thank god,' after he said 'see you next year?' That was a cheeky little hit on pro wrestling I think.
davd1986 Yes.
I think it was a cheeky little prayer of Thanksgiving
davd1986
LeRoy Neiman
The same announcer during the Apollo/Drago fight.
I forgot how bizarre and awesome this scene was
The most wrestling moves Hulk Hogan has ever done throughout his entire career.
yes, and not just in one match... over ALL his matches combined; never knew he had it in him ;)
You guys have clearly never seen Hulk Hogan's work in Japan. Hulk was actually a pretty decent wrestler, especially for his size, it's just that he knew he could get over in the WWF with his charisma and a limited moveset.
Mama Lama hulk actually could wrestle and so can cena. they just don't have to.
Still no selling like a pro
Many top guys don't sell they are egomaniacal. That's why the midcard guys really hit stiff workers and get future endeavored. Politics
this is a trustworthy representation of professional wrestling.
+Lucas Resende People talking way too loudly and shenanigans going on?
Not really
Darius Angel 😂👌
Hulk Hogan was born old!
***** 29 years old was he at the time
There's no way you can be born old. You ought to see some childhood pictures of Hulk, especially one with him on his little league baseball team!...
David McGinnis he was born in 1953, and Sly was born in 1946, there is a big difference between those 2, but people didn't notice his real age
WaqarDepp Combo of steroids, tanning, and bleaching his hair. He looked the same for 30 years.
TheGoldcountry the same ??????????????????? only his face
"Sometimes charity really hurts!"
3:18 "You maniac come back here!" I love it.
"I don't sweat you!"
lolol Paulie
“ I don’t sweat you”~ Paulie after the Grim Reaper comes to claim him.
@@kisshooters69 Holy fuck, the guy trained under Cus D'Amato. Add that to a genuine pro record and serving with the marines, Burt Young is way more hardcore than I realized.
Hogan sure looks old for 29.
A mix of roids, fake tan and beard. :)
@@Alexano101 and lack of hair on his head
Now he looks young for his age though
Sounds like 40 too
Steriods does that to people.
"See you next year...thank God"
🤣😂😆
"CATCH ME!!!!" LOL
YTWarrior100 poor Rocky, Paulie and definitely Mickey 😢😢😢😭😢😭
"'"Hey Rock! Remember the neighborhood!!!""'
Lol!!!!!
"All my love slaves out there, Thunderlips is here, in the flesh, baby. The ultimate male vs. the ultimate meatball."
LOL
That's why wrestling is the best
Stallone 5 ft 8 in 155 pounds
Hogan 6 ft 7 320-350 pounds
11 inches and 165-195 pounds difference thats insane
Doesnt mean shit.
If you can take on someone who's 1 foot higher than you then you're weak lol
Bowens92 you said the exact same thing to someone else
hva faen skal jeg hete Stallone isn't/wasn't 155lbs and 5 ft 8, you just turned him into a slim teenage boy. In Rocky III he was 210lbs during the Hogan fight. And not 5'8 for sure, at least 5'9.
Stallone is 5'10 about 185 pounds.
Stall is 5,10
Hahahaha! This is better than ANYTHING from WWE from the last 10 years! Not to mention Hogan's best in-ring performance ever!
You mean since joining WWF? Hogan was a much different performer in the AWA and Japan
@@k1productions87 I've only ever heard about that as footage is very rare. i wonder why he changed his style so drastically?
is it me or does Hogan look much much bigger in this movie then he does irl?
+Paul Contreras because at that time hogan was 6 ft 7 but due to back injuries and surgeries hogan is now 6 ft 4 or 6 ft 5 and cant stand straight thats why he looks smaller
hva faen skal jeg hete oh... I didn't know that. Thanks for the info
+hva faen skal jeg hete Plus Stallone is pretty small, like 5'8".. plus Hogan is wearing lifts to look even taller.
+CapAnson12345 Stallone 5 ft 8 in 155 pounds
Hogan 6 ft 7 320-350 pounds
11 inches and 165-195 pounds difference thats insane
They also billed him bigger than he actually is in the film. In real life, Hogan was never 6'7" (WWF/WWE will always alter heights to make the superstars seem bigger than they are), he's about 6'4" at the most. However, in the film, they wanted him to appear to be 7 feet tall because in the first two films, Rocky was billed at 6'1" - however, Sylvester Stallone is about 5'9", so to maintain the illusion that Rocky was over 6 feet tall, they billed Hogan at 7'0".
"No one can believe the superhuman strength of Thunderlips. I am the man!"
Alden R. Davis the way he walks and holds him😂😂😂
Why is Clubber Lang in a tuxedo when everyone else in the crowd has jeans and t-shirts?!
Because clubbed Lang is a professional boxer and a celebrity in this movie
@balboa82 T was big into suits back in the day and even such things as derby hats and walking sticks. Before he was an actor, he was a bodyguard and one of his trademarks was wearing a suit with a fresh flower boutonniere every day.
Yes, good question, I pity the fool.
He looked dapper though
Of course Hulk refuses to put Rocky over
+Gonzalo Silva Where's the part where Hall and Nash come down and attack Rocky?
+willisapril yeah after that three of them formed the New World Order
LMFAO
+willisapril LMAO
These were in 80s.
Best part of the scene is the kid asking
"Is Daddy having fun?"
'Rocko! Remember the neighbourhood!'
This is hilarious. One of the funniest moments imo in the Rocky series! :D
But also one of the most painful. 😵
Margaret Tudor: CUT MY GLOVES OFF, COME ON CUT MY GLOVES OFF
Classic Paulie line "I don't sweat you".... told Apollo the same thing lol.
Ha ha ha! Good one!
And tommy Gunn
Rocky's muscular body looks tiny next to Hogan lol
Doesnt mean shit can you try to take on someone who's a foot higher?
If you cant then ha you're too weak lol
Bowens92 your too weak you dumb bitcj
@@tracybrass8692 You can't prove him wrong
You kids are weak to fight someone a foot taller lol.
Bowens92 id take u on I’m 6’8 how tall r u?
Hogan was a monster back then
The most funny line "Is daddy having fun?"
-"Of course"
Funny when the announcer said "See you next year....thank god" LOL.
"I can't break your spirit, but I can sure enough break your back!" 1:47.
Either Thunderlips reads his comicbooks, or Bane watches the Rocky films. :)
"Well, listen, while you're still calm, could we get that polaroid together?"
Nowadays, he would've asked for a selfie
Rocko remember the neighborhood lol
Paulie great material
"I can't break your spirit, but I sure enough can break your back." That's so badass.
The first half of the match where Hogan beats Rocky is actually pretty epic.
I always found this scene too smart for its own good; on one hand they were trying to maintain kayfabe without exposing the fakery of pro wrestling. On the other, they tried to put over this idea that they just had a legitimate fight with outrageous pro-wrestling moments, such as the worked chairshots & bodyslams. They were trying to have their cake and eat it too, which just made the entire segment look even more hard to take seriously.
+Shawn Cryor It was completely unnecessary and over the top, but still very entertaining :)
+Shawn Cryor This is when the franchise lost it's fucking mind. It went from "underdog winning against all odds" to "underdog winning a dragon ball z fight".
+Eric Not really. Rocky did not win the boxer vs Wrestler match and while he was powerful I would not out Clubber Lang anywhere near a. DBZ opponent.
This scene will always rank as one of the Greatest and most realistic in movie history, featuring one of modern cinema's most beloved and venerated SUPER STARS (Stallone) vs one of its most versatile and illustrious thespians (Hogan). This scene was mind bending, and transcendental. I just had this out of body experience!
Taylor Ahern Though the last film our thespian appeared in got him in a bit of trouble.
That was when Hulk Hogan was in his prime. That's the Hulk Hogan I grew up with.
I like how when they take a picture with thunder lips, Adrian is looking at him like ‘you’d better not go at me like you did to my husband and Bro’
brilliant
i grow up with movies like that
I've said it before and I'll say it again and I don't give a fuck who doesn't agree this is hogans greatest match ever.
Mickey: "Move around the ring!"
Paulie: "He is the ring."
I love rocky thank you for posting this new sub
I seen this at 12 yrs old at The Wescove in West Covina, CA. and this scene was literally the coolest scene ever
Hulkamania is running wild!!!!!!
Hmm, wouldn't that instead be the Thunder Storm?
*THAT’S THE NAME OF THE GAME.*
Great participation of the Hulk. I love to see this part everytime...
THANK YOU
20 years later, we see Rocky vs Hogan again at WM18 ;)
lol
My favorite line by hulk hogan when he pushes past the crowd he says out of the way worms pmsl
Thank you! :)
Luv the sound of the slow motion leg drop never gets old
When paulie smashes the chair againts hogan. Hehehe
i dont sweat you!
Ali vs Wepner 1976 inspired Stallone to write Rocky. Wepner being a rough, tough, white underdog going the distance with Ali is like Balboa going the distance with Creed.
Balboa fighting awkwardly with no particular style, rugged, white, and the name "Rocky" refers to Marciano.
But working in a slaughterhouse, pummelling hanging meat, running up the steps at Philly, and being as relentless and as tough as they come, refers to the man who gets little credit at all, (apart from a special guest appearance in the first movie), Smokin' Joe Frazier. Apparently a statue of Joe is now being made in Philadelphia.
This is one of the best scenes in all the Rocky movies.
One of the most defining moments in movie history. It boosted wrestling to the worldwide stage of entertainment. Iconic!
4:29 KNOCK HIS BLOCK OFF!!!!
Reminds me of my grandfather!
Rocky went South Philly on his ass. Fuck these gloves and rules!
Lmao
Hell I love this! :D
what a great classic scene !
"Sometimes, Charity really Hurts"
"Out Of The Way Worms" =)
Your awesome Pauli
This is one of the reasons I love this movie so much!
"Is daddy having fun?" ..."Yes"
He said " take my gloves off. " When he got them gloves off he beat the crap out of Hogan.
That I never understood gloves protect your hands so why take them off
Always loved that cracking sound when he does the backbreaker.
'...sometimes charity really hurts...' - that was a good one ... :-)
This clip doesn't include "Thunderlip's" entrance? I'm PISSED!!!!
3:44 Paulie, Help!!!
"catch me"!!!! Cracks me up every time 🤣🤣🤣
Damn, this is so much fun!
‘No I’m not done yet not for the meatball!’ 😂
"I'll break him in half like this!"
I can't believe Thunderlips would actually kill Rocky just for a charity match. He probably would have if the referee didn't break it up and proclaim it was a draw.
If he’s big and blonde, he doesn’t know what “exhibition” means
"He Is The Ring" Paulie Lines are The BEST!!
Well said BROTHER !!!!!
SEE YOU NEXT YEAR...thank god
4:39 The most hilarious moment
Love this one
Thanks. :)
Paulie - " I dont sweat you"
Hulk - wallop 😂
man this thunderlips guy is impressive! why didnt vince mcmahon hire this guy and bring him to the wwf???
They created a meme without even knowing.
Some of the sounds are obviously dubbed in to enhance the drama, but not the back crunch at 1:53. No! That one is real! That is the sound of pure pain, and oh how I *love* it!
This proves wrestling is real.
This proves wtestling was real it definetly isnt real these days

Hulk vs clubber ?
Hulk vs drago ?
Drago vs clubber ?
Apollo vs clubber ?
we'll never know...
Hulk.
Drago.
Drago
Apollo.
Le Monde de Chris All I know... Is that Drago will DEMOLISH and KILL every one of them. There's literally no debate here, the guy killed Apollo Creed in round 2, and punches twice as hard as he should be able to lol
Clubber Lang had terrible cardio and wouldn't last against the other boxers. King Kong Bundy claims that Mr. T needed oxygen after his worked boxing match with Bob Orton.
Le Monde de Chris Hulk Hulk Drago Apollo
Clubber
Drago
Drago
Clubber
You can tell that Hogan and Sly had fun on this shoot. Freaking awesome!!
1:39 “ Rocko remember the neighborhood!” 😂😂😂😂 classic paulie
Is daddy having fun???? hahahahahaha
The first half of this fight is how I imagine a fight between Ronda Rousey and Floyd Mayweather would go
Sydney Heimbouch worst defence in fighting vs best defence in fighting.
3:47 "I don't sweat you!" I think this is one of my favorite Paulie scenes.
Paulie with the chair gets me every time.
Hogan should've paired up with Jaws in a James Bond movie.
That would just be unfair for Bond.
"Lights out Meatball !"
hwoods01 here we go baby...lights out meatbaall.
The Hulkster just owns everybody.
Woooow remind me my lovely past time
