- Made our way to our "local" track US36 for a little Wednesday night testing. Think we figured out the issues with this past weekend. Unfor, everything seems to be rained out for this weekend so we won't be back out until next weekend!

If you'd pull out the weight from the axle, split it in two and add those to your rear shock chassis mounts, you'd get more response, tuneability and lifespan from your rear shock setup without adding any weight. Also your rear axle would last longer. Also also, squatting does not make any sense on 28's, on any surface. Especially when you have only one or two car lengths of grip surface. When the grip goes away, you really need to stand on that tyre to make it hook. The best way to do that is to drive the axle under the car, not tuck it inside the wheel well. If you tuck it in, you are riding on your shocks instead of your links. Links can take the pressure load, but shocks are made to give in. If you tune them to not give in, they burst. Front shocks and springs are there to manage the dynamic weight distribution i.e "weight transfer"

I know an engine builder that test the Rockwell hardness of everything. He has found push rods and other things out of spec. Didn't have to do this years ago.

That’s traction control pulling timing out of the engine or slowing the injectors to keep the tires from spinning. That’s why it sounded like it was up and down in power. Or something to those lines anyway
Yep seemed to be cutting out or losing fuel on the big end. I may be wrong though only Ryan knows.
