That thing is not safe… I love everything about it!!!
Nothing is safe but we are going there 🐌 on next video you will see crazy 🤪 but more safety implementations.
You say that now
You're fervor for EV's is greatly appreciated. I enjoy how you help & inform so many about EV's. Thank you Sir.
My pleasure 😊 🙏 I'm glad we all move in the same direction.
Well done, fantastic build.!
This is sick, thanks for the video! ⚡🤙
BAC 4000 go kart! that thing is sick, nice job.
When I was kid , my dad always had my brother and I something to ride... we started with pedal cars, to bicycles, to go karts and mini bikes, my dad would rob motors off the garden tiller and lawn tractors just to keep us riding!!! B4 we graduated to dirt bikes then cars... I would have loved this when I was a kid!!!!!
I'm 55 now and I think this is an awesome cart..
I love the idea of something like this but w/ a app that allows you to modify it completely, if anyone isn't familiar w/ Cars and Cameras, they recently did a limo go-cart w/ a removable section of frame, I'd like to see that combined w/ a programmable controller for kids (to learn about controller settings) and one for adults... That w/ wheel size options and suspension options, bolt on rollbars and racks, this would be sweet. 😁
Wow. I like it. Cheers. EDIT: I see people with similar types of EV"s, but they have long flags sticking up behind their seats, so that traffic has a better chance of seeing them.
It's not fully completed
Ver nice work. The most impressive part of this build is the fact that you managed to get the BAC4000 to run at all, let alone run well. To modify the parameters, you need to know someone who has a login code to the BACdoor app because ASI don't exactly hand them out to anyone, and even if you do get a login, you have to have a controller that isn't locked out like mine was (I bought it off a third party supplier who wasn't interested in giving me the code to unlock it). In any case, ASI BAC controllers are one of the most user unfriendly pieces of electrical equipment I have ever used. Which is a shame because they are quite a good controller if you are lucky enough to get access to the parameters.
The the asi controller was tune by me Eric. Yes your right without my knowledge its also impossible to get these Controller to work
Greetings I am checking if I were to build one of this could I get your help to unlock the controller?
Always remember that going fast with only rear brakes can make you spin doughnuts while still going fast but usually in a direction you wish you weren't
😂
very cool build, well done man1
Thanks a lot!
I'm currently building mine with a similar motor (QS motor 3kW and 12kW peak) with 350Amp controller. seeing yours go this well makes me worry about my smaller tyres on mine! also have a 2:1 internal motor gearbox and large 48 tooth sprocket for more low down torque
Good build 👍
Glad you like it
pretty fun project... Props!
absolutely!
Looks so cool!
indeed it is.
Really nice build, just found your channel and subscribed. Do you have regenerative braking enabled with this controller or is it a mechanical brake system?
It would be SICK to see this BEAST offroading haha!
absolutely!!!
With no suspension he'll need an ambulance to the nearest chiropractor.
Impressive, thanks for sharing
Thank you for watching
Parabéns pelo trabalho
I'm planning a build like this myself, but based on sandrail buggy and pulling 20kw x4 AWD
Very neat. Makes me want to try with my bike bafang kit.
Go for it
Thank you! I'll see what I can do.
@@TheTonester2312 Miromax has motors as well. Planning on selling my 16,800kw enduro to get surron swapping to a bigger motor, 72v, bac8000
Greetings I am making my own build currently question does this motor require any mods to work with bac controller or it’s plug and play?
1: This looks like Newmarket, Ontario 2: Amazing build with just the right amount of power 3: I would want a battery box to help protect my happy area.. just saying.
I say its Brampton
Holy crap and to think I wanted to make one using a 15000+ watt brushless motor running on 60-70 volts... what kart frame is that, and what kinda amps does that thing pull?
Love those tires! I have the same size go kart, actually looks a lot like yours, but not electric. I'm going to get rid of my knobby off road tires and get some of these. They are great! Also would love to convert it to electric eventually .
I have the two seater 150cc buggy, what would be the base price for motor, speed controller, and batt, go peddel, ill be doing all fab work and wiring. Great job on your cart
love it!
I am glad you like it
You don't have to worry about the neighbors complaining about the small engine noise. That's a good thing.
I would definitely buy one
great job i was thinking of converting my 110cc atv but batteries just dont last long on 1 charge. Get 1-2 hours on 1 charge but gas i can ride my atv for 6 hours any thoughts
This is great, I'm trying to do this with a mobility scooter
Cool idea 💡 😎
What kind kit was used with this kart? Interested to know because I have that same Manco frame.
Thanks
What would a set up like this cost? Motor/pack/controller = $?
Very cool. Does anyone make a controller/motor/battery “plug and play” kit like this? I’ve been wanting to build one of these but I’m very new to this idea and need something easy to setup for the first build. Thanks
That was cool 😎
Yes absolutely 💯 🙌 glad you liked it
Can you list the products used and a link to them please I am going to build one
I love that conversation. If u don't mind me asking what's the price of that kit.
This is awesome
Yes absolutely 💯
It would be so much fun
can you provide me info on the controller and motor. and how can i accquire it? thanks
It’s a me, Mario!
yeah! ✊
where did you get the battery, or did you make it yourself?
How long does a full charge last you. Minutes or km
It is smoking only 1 tire ?
I have the ssme motor & controller but I don't finished the project yet , i finished my 1800w hub motor project 😁
it will be cool to see what you have.
What model are the tires? Sun F a021's?
Hey, really nice build! I wanna ask how did you handle the problem about the differential on the rear axel?
I am glad you liked it!
Gokarts dont have differntials. It's good for drifting ;)
Do you have a parts list or links where we can get these parts like the motor, controller and battery? Really nice build I enjoy the burnouts.
He reads them off in the video at the 1:30 mark, no links but aliexpress has most of the parts or some very similar.
Thanks jay
Looks like fun and I like the music in the background. What website did you download the music from?
youtube library
ME GUSTARIA TRATAR DE CONSEGUIR TODO EL EQUIPO PARA HACER UNA ADAPTACION SE PODRIA CONSEGUIR LOS IMPLEMENTOS GRACIAS
Links for the whole setup?
SO SHWEEEETTT...much love Tee with LIONS NAMED LEO.[the music worldwide}
AND SOOOO BAD ASS......GOT ONE 4 SALE..??
I really want 2 to 4 of these
Buy and diy them
And the other amazing bit of engineering is how the woollen beanie works as a helmet. Man, there must be some strong wool in that thing!!
dont be the helmet nerd guy
That's a Canadian neighborhood all day!
Good observation 👍 👌 👏
More information on the motor and controller please. I’m looking to build my own ev quad
all info in the video.
Sweet
Can you please provide a link for that electric motor? That thing looks awesome!
@@Hitycooking ok, so it's a secret?
It’s a qs mid drive just type online QS mid drive
it says in the video what motor it is. Just type in google
@@THE_BaconPirate aliexpress is the answer
@@CAZrides thank you!
Nice
Thanks
How much is the entire kart approximately to buy/build? As well I'm very very tall so would I be able to fit into a kart like this?
Working on it and it's 3am here
how much money do you have in this build ?
そごい 🤩その くるま たな推し です ・いくらですか?
Cool
indeed
How much was that set up
Find an old set of mono leaf springs at a boneyard and fab up a front and rear bumper set that has big vertical bars that are as tall as a car’s bumpers.
This will give you much risk mitigation!
good point
Hey man, I’m in Brampton, doing a similar build with a Golden Motor 5kw pushed to 7.5kw with BAC2000. I believe we got the battery pack from the same guy, Eric lol ! Lets meet up if possible, would love to see your cart and share details on mine. Awesome rolling burnout btw.
where do you get your batteries made?
Could another alternator not be fitted to help charging?
Will not be efficient nor effective. Too much weight.
Build cost?
A build video from start to finish would be nice
It's already done
I think this motor powers my furnace blower!!! 3750rpm?
Nice work bos... How fast can go?
still testing scared to push to the max. Spins tires at 45kmh
Cool go cart but u really have to be careful
be awesome on the beach!
That's the plan!
No cooling? Doesnt it overheat
depends on the settings and rider weight.
I’m gonna build something like this
That's awesome 👌 👏
Know anyone who builds 🔋? Needing a 90v
Where u get the cart my friend
watch the into of the video
This is the kind of speed and energy I require for a full suspension bicycle I have. So I wonder if the battery cascade can be arranged to a triangular outline so it might fit into the half diamond of the bike frame? The things I like about electric is the quiet, smoothness, absense of petrochemical fume and liquid consumption. I don't object to water cooling at all. I expect charging is probably more "cost" effective per mile? However the carbon footprint is questionable, but at least the pollution of exhaust smoke does not follow my every move . The stench is deplorable in deisle & petrol power. It does not matter how it looks but the performance must stand up and economy has to provide me with 10 to 20 miles of range from the fuel cell (battery).
You need a flag on your ride. So we can see you! Protect and be seen!
that is a good point but testing in the neighborhood is fine.
Deathtrap
Was that full speed? 🤔
fast
It doesn't feel like 12 kwatts though.
Needs the Jetson noise.
the drone you mean?
1:50 " 75 kilometres an hour range" you mean speed?
75kmh yes which is pretty fast for this application.
How much would you sell this for?
Not for sale
Awesome. What it cost ya?
@@MegaMeaty
This is an electric vehicle channel, I think you jumped over the whole point.
Cheers
@@patrickmckowen2999 I didn't jump anything, I have a couple gas go karts, and was looking for a conversion cost. Thanks
@@armenvegas I guess around a few thousand if you dont build your own battery
@@patrickmckowen2999 I do electric too. It is more about cost vs power for me. You can spend x amount of dollars on an electric conversion or you can spend x less, and get more performance from gas. I like my electric vehicles, but it is not always the best option. If you know what you are doing a gas bike conversion can give you way much more power for a lot less money, and you still are being green, because most get 90 mpg. Small gas engines are irrelevant in the big game. They use so little fuel, and produce a lot of fun. I still ride my funky 1000 watt scooter, because it costs nothing to charge, and does it's job well. I do both, and know the differences.
What’s the top speed?
Too fast
You have the tire size backwards.
I think he meant smoke the tires at 45km/h

But it's OK to be mean if you shield it with humor?
круто конечно,но не понятно для чего ее использовать.для дрифта база короткая,для офрода тоже не пойдет,а просто ездить самокат или велик удобнее

that is the qs 90h or 70h ?

@@ElectricVehicleSpace i can't find it just tell
is it legal btw?
It depends
12kW? How did you extract that from a 2kW motor?
i think you need to re watch the video again and see the motor rating.
With a transmission/gearbox could probably get over 60mph!
or just put like a tillotson 225 on it but sure
12000w should be lifting the front end.
He either needs a cvt or a bigger lower gear to accomplish that. Really - it needs a CVT or what the kids call a belt torque converter. Considering the cost of the other components a CVT for that would be a couple hundred bucks, and make usability much greater as that particular motor has a funky torque/RPM curve.
it is but the driver did not had the helmet or any protective gear so he went gentle on the throttle.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace So a (most) CVT has a gear ratio of 3. You can start with twice the torque, and end with 3 times the speed.
@@MegaMeaty They just need to gear it down and spin that motor to 10k. Let the voltage do the work.
@@lazzer408 What? power is voltage multiplied by current. Voltage is the potential to do work, and current is the actual work, so your statement is stupid. Don't make comments to people like me if you don't have a clue what your talking about.
Если мой скейт стоит 185 тысяч, то во-сколько встанет такой аппарат!?
You can look up each part cost but it's north 3k
@@ElectricVehicleSpace хорошо.
12kw lol yeah right
