This is playable again now that Birdman is unlimited. All 3 combo pieces at 3.
And it's so simple compared to 90% of FTKs/OTKs, let alone infinitely more searchable.

@@samk7400 Nope. I'm just speaking theoretically, though I do have experience with two thirds of the combo from an old online Yugioh game, Duel Arena, where one of the pre-set decks was a pure monster build with Birdman and Star Beast, as well as Witch of the Black Rose and the like.
This is a horribly inconsistent FTK 😂 it’s complicated to get all 3 pieces out and its not very searchable. The deck loses to 1 handtrap.
@@siddeeqorrie5947 It's still simpler than 90% of ftks. And there are cards to search some of this
3-card combos are way outdated by modern standards, especially when you can basically FTK by opening Snake-Eye Ash + 2-3 handtraps.

Prior to Birdman/Doom combo, the original version of this deck worked with Gallis and any Barrier statue monster that wasn't the earth one, as a 2 card OTK. You would reveal Gallis, mill and burn, but since you couldn't summon it, you would "resolve as much as possible" and it would stay in your hand to keep using the effect. Konami staff ruled the combo to be too powerful and ruled that Gallis would no longer work with barrier statues, so we had to wait until Koa'ki Mieru Doom and AOJ Birdman came out to complete the combo.
It feels so wrong being this early to a short. But im glad to be here. Thanks for the info squiddys

Cockroach knight was the preferred monster of choice. When it gets sent to the gy it goes to the top of the deck.
Going to try this with timelords and 3 magical mallets lol. Still won’t be great haha.

It could be played with Pendulum monsters. Some of them can be played as staples, like Archfiend Accentric, who is a non-quick once-per-turn MST.
and Igknights for the deck thinning. and Dangers.
@@wickederebus Spright, Live⭐️Twins and Nimble are also great Deck thinners and work well together.
@@pi_xi yeah, but they don't have the high levels necessary to do decent burn damage, and they eat your normal summon, or require a Spell card in the deck.
The ideal is to play 3x all the good dangers, 3 Koa'ki Meiru Doom guy, 3x Genex birdman, and 3x the FTK boy.
the other 31 cards need to all be monsters, otherwise you risk top decking a spell.
My point is that Bigfoot and Thunderbird can make the Coash King that burns for up to 2400, and Chupacabra and Mothman can make Cowboy for 800. Cowboy is even a Soft OPT, so you can make multiple copies to burn for 2400 again.
and you can make Daigusto Emeral to recycle and get an extra draw.
Firecracker is a free 1k burn if you need to.
Danger snek and rabbit can make Dante to mill for 3.
the SHS engine can make a rank 4, a synchro 8, 6, or 10, or be used to Pend summon a bunch of guys.

I make Omega, and use his effect twice because of Dis Pater.
Then I Chaos Dragon banishing 3 darks to rip another card.
Then I use Dis Pater to negate an opponent's card.
And I have all my Runick interactions.
And yes Branded Regained does let me put back Omega and still draw 1.
So I can make Omega 3 times in 1 turn.
The fun thing for Master Duel was they semi limited Birdman on release to prevent this combo, but they later removed the restriction, I built it with Bysstials and it is so satisfying to pull off the otk and still have a fighting chance if you don't.
That winrate had to be ass, but I bet it was a real hoot when it popped off.
funny enough, back when it was middle of the xyz era, i used galis and genex ally birdman in a mainly monster deck that revolved around synchros, only spell was one reasoning, the rest was just materials and searchers for synchro plays
I made so many different decks with 'Heart of the Underdog' as a draw engine as a kid. Worked really well for a lot of different cards honestly. Like I'd gain life points for every card drawn, 'Muka Muka' would become a nuke, or I just use 'Blasting of the Ruins' to burn my opponent.
Lots of different options.

Nah, you can easily slap an engine in like Spright (without Starter and Jet).

It was actually good because super heavy already ran a ton of monster hand traps. And in Revolution for a going second punch with black rose and it’s a ton of fun
I love my Cyber Dragon OTK deck. It's hilarious when first turn I can pull out Cyber End Dragon, then return all three Cyber Dragons to the field. They usually just forfeit at that point.
The real challenge is getting all three on your hands 😅

Sounds more consistent than the crap Kaiba tried in the anime.
It's amazing how many instances in YGO there are of using a combination of 3 cards that were never meant to be played together and completely breaking the game with it.
Monster Mash was awesome! Back when the players made the deck names and not Konami force feeding us archetypes. Anyone else remember Sex on Fire or Baji Beasts? Troop Dupe Scoop!
I actually play this all the time in master duel! It's a rogue deck for sure but with a beast engine like alpha to bounce it back for value, timelords that can burn and that one hand trap that burns your opponent for getting rid of a special summoned monster, its pretty good and a lot of fun to play
Interesting. I always heard this strategy was supposed to use Koa’ki Meiru Drago, but I guess it doesn’t matter. Both cards allow for the activation of Birdman’s effect but not its Special Summon.
well with drago u cant even attempt to summon a light or dark unforchanatly so birdman it would only work with doom but drago was definitly bettar to play in the dragon decks 🐲
What a nostalgic. Im playing this deck on major tournament 2014. Im playing with agent angel deck and its work 2 times. Its fun looking your opponent face how its work.
Honestly one of my favourite decks of all time. I loved the Monster Mash times. Gallis OTK was a fun time.
Yeah those good ol times. I remember playing Gladiator Beast back then and facing Dark World skill Drain multiple times. But this deck and Herald of Perfection really shock me. Ever since then solemn warning and judgement became my bestie.

The hardest part for that strat was the koaki doom. Only thing that was not really searchable at the time. While you had tour guide and sangan and genex neutron for birdman and gallis.
I remember calling this type of Deck Monster Mash:
A deck with basically all 40/60 cards composed of monsters, Gallis, Witch of the Black Rose and Birdman were the stars of that deck. It was really sad when you used to run 1 to 3 Spell Cards and always hitting them with Witch or Gallis. You could do so many combos, good times.
I suffered that in Master Duel last night
They had s perfect opening and I was just trying to do SOMETHING and not just end turn OH COME ON , A 3 IN 36 CHANCE *and it has to be now*
Used this back in the day before Birdman got Limited. Took it to a local shop three Wednesdays in a row for the tournament day. Managed FTK with semi-fair consistency all three days I went, won the tournament each of those three days
Fourth week comes along, I go to the shop. Shop owner told me if I planned on using my Gallis Of DoomBird strat, I wasn't allowed in the Tournament that week. So I used Frogs N Gods, still won 🤣
The creativity of every yugioh player since day one is amazing , creating infinite loop , ftk , otk , infinite life points recieve ,creating meta deck , breaking yugioh law in legal way and even the hidden lore of every cards .
until today my brain still mesmerized if i think about how creative they are . I hope it will not end because its almost 2 decade since the first release (TCG) ❤❤❤
im not a player anymore , but i keep myself updated to meta and some news in yugioh world because it is part of my childhood.
Even as someone who quit Yugioh when Synchro summoning came along, I am not surprised given the monsters I saw that already started to act like spell cards if we are honest. Nevermind everything was getting special summoned.

It ran birdman and Gallis, but it has a weird line up.
I run a deck like that in master duel, I call it, “The Star-Bird Doom” combo.

I had dee best Galis FTK deck & never got to take it at any regionals or yCS it got hit by the list. But I was wrecking Locals with it, it was the 3 best engines at the time, chaos dragons/chaossworn tour guide engine & a small package of the wind up loop, my end board would loop ur hand & have REDMD & Light Pulsar Dragon with grave set up. Or have boss monsters in hand such as BLS Chaos Sorc or Sephylon the Timelord

I've won a local championship with that deck and I won a few yugioh games with a that strag..
Literally just play all three of these monsters at three copies apiece and stack the entire rest of the deck with hand traps and maybe some monsters with good draw effects

I was a kid at my first locals when I came across this combo, handtrap gallis agents 2011 ish, this was so insane I as a kid built my own crappy chaos version. As someone who experienced this ftk, I hate this game.

Birdman is a frustrating deck on a meta level because the archetype it's a part of is legendarily bad, except for being able to bring out generic synchros and Birdman not having a once per turn effect.
So, whenever people want to bring up Genex being bad people will say "But Birdman isn't once per turn, and the deck can bring out Baronne."
The thing is that no one runs Genex as a pure deck since it's worse at synchro summoning than other synchro decks, and Birdman wasn't even supposed to work in the deck since it's technically a Mist Valley card.
Birdman is also great in Exodia FTKs, returning the required parts from the field to your hand.
baronne is banned so it cant be used for that

Where I come from FTK does 4 damage to a creature when it enters because Flame Tongue Kavu is just that Flame Tongue Kavu .
Plus who wants to wait until their first turn to kill someone when you can do it before the first turn has even started.

Cast flash, play protean hulk, don't pay for it

Search for 4 shifting wall and 4 phyrexian marauder and 4 disciple of the vault
They all enter and the marauders and walls all die each causing 4 life loss from disciple so your opponent loses 32 and is dead

I personally don’t care for strategies like these because unless you draw one of the 3 overly specific cards your first hand you may as well just take the loss. Yugioh is far to reliant on single card activation to start literally any strategy. That’s why I combine 4 in my deck so if someone hand traps, negates, stops, or otherwise counters the first thing I try to do, i still have options.
I have some extremely rare japanese card , the material its made of is thicker than the average card. I cant remember where i got it. Its in rough shape sadly , so i hardly handle it anymore.
It seems to be some god-like card. I have no idea lol its all blue , and almost resembles obolisk the tormentor , but its not him. I have the three gods so id know 😁
