great video, I've got a crosland X and looks like the same handbrake and i've been holding the button on with an elastic band for a few months now so i'm going to try this. might have to cement the button peices back together though.

You missed the broken bit at the top of the handbrake, that also needs removing before fitting the new button

This could have been solved with a pair of tweezers, a wooden nail stick (or any other thin stick) and a bit of glue or tape
