⋆Today we are checking out the new content for Animal Shelter Simulator which just so happens to be a HORSE RESCUE DLC!! A small handful of you guys might remember when I played Animal Shelter almost a year ago but I am so excited that they have added horses! It was honestly super fun! There's an old game from the 2000s, called Pet Vet Paws & Claws, I used to play the hell out of it at my friend's house, and I was enamored with it. Obviously, it's not new and the graphics aren't the best, but this was the OG of veterinary care games back then.

I like how the horses look. The game surprisingly doesn't seem bad. I think they just probably need to change to jumping.
Nice video! I agree with you on the whole 'realism is difficult to achieve' thing, and that SSO horses look so good becaused they're more stylized.

I got this game a bit back before the horse DLC and ultimately ended up getting a refund after a day because I got glitches that halted progress a tad too often and it just got boring really quick otherwise. I might pick it up again if it's improved since...idk, a month ago, but...

The only weird part I see watching the beginning is that they use hay for the bedding- horses eat hay and straw is not a horse bedding either they should’ve used shavings!
I wouldn't know 😳 in Ranch of Rivershine they also use straw! Maybe it's a difference in countries? I'm not entirely sure 😅
@@JustAnotherPixel (sorry if this comes off as rude it’s not intended to be) straw should not be used and is highly indigestible to horses, which have a sensitive digestive system, and can cause colic or even death if consumed in large amounts, in which hay usually falls on the floor and would be consumed with the straw. This is caused by a large lignin fiber build up!

Because fertilizer is processed feces is not. They are not the same thing, one becomes the other over time. I sure hope your not keep keeping poop in a stall so long its braking down into fertilizer.

unfortunately this game is PC only!
To you have to buy the horse stable
in the game? no! It automatically unlocks 🥰 you might have to play with cats or dogs for a while until you unlock it - I would assume once you unlock the ability to have both cats and dogs at your shelter you also unlock horses if it is not unlocked at the beginning of the game

Mane needs work, clipping headcollars needs work, lead needs to not be curled when in the hand like that. Would be good to actually see a physical difference in the horse from ill and skinny or injured to healthy and putting on weight. Same for overweight animals.

I often call grey horses white still because some people who might not know the correct terminology might be confused by me calling a (colour wheel) white horse as grey. I don't know I know I should always be technical but sometimes I can't be bothered haha
