Around the World - Zábava
Hey everyone - this video is done via Zoom as times are what they are still, but hopefully we can once again start filming in the studio very soon!
Zoom is very good for these big videos, so maybe the pandemic was a blessing in disguise...?
We're all praying everything will be back to normal soon 🙏🏻
content quality - awesome as usual
video quality - I personally dont care that its of a lower quality
sound quality - very, very bad. sometimes it is hard to understand people from all around the world in your videos because of different accents and level of english language, but here I didnt understand them because of poor sound. Yes, subtitles help, but I usually just have the video as a background noise and check the screen only between discussions
Love this format. The production videos are entertaining, these are informative and I feel part of a conversation. Like I get to know the people and understand the stereotype from there perspective, whether they agree or not. Great video as always!
I really enjoyed this layout!
When someone puts ketchup on a pizza , an Italian dies.
Must be true. I got upset when I read it.
I would never add it on top, but is ti still bad to add some (less than a teaspoon) to the tomato sauce instead of sugar (because it's sweet)..? Could you link what an authentic italian pizza should be like? Maybe a recipe link ^^
Then i’ll put it everytime 😂

"Italians are stylish"
Me, italian, looking at my clothes "How bad people dress in other country?"

I think the same thing when they say that Swedes dress stylish

All the Dislikes are from people who eat at 5 o'clock...
I think a lot of pple around the world confuses Italian American culture with Italian culture from Italy. Italian americans are some of the most prosperous groups in the US and one of the few white ethnicities that managed to latch on some of their culture. Italian americans modified Italian food to make it more palatable to Americans which turned out to be totally delicious and quickly spread to the rest of the world. People are shocked to find out while vacationing in Italy that the food is very different. Much less cheese and butter.
I thought northern Italian dishes are more Cheese and Butter while the southern Italian dishes are more tomatoes and plant based?
Kit Arvin that’s true! Southern Italian food is my life.
Nobody does it better like italians!
And less garlic.

Now I know Brazilian and Italian have a lot of smilitaries, all the Stereotypes are equal. I'm Brazilian and this is crazy and very fun.
My boyfriend is Italian and I’m Brazilian. It’s so funny 😂
I thought about that too. They are pretty similar to us, and I assume similar to Latin Americans in general.
I think what is mostly similar is that we are noisy and that men are a bit aggresive when courting.
You have an italian family name
Actually Sao Paulo. In Rio they eat pizza with ketchup... But yes, you can read on Wikipedia the huge influence SP has towards Italian immigration.
So true!! I was thinking about that the entire video 🇧🇷
Italians are far more intelligent, cultured and likeable than shows or movies would have you believe
I'm Italian and all those "stereotypes" are very true from my point of view. Of course not all men are mommy boys and not every Italian knows how to cook but most of the time those stereotypes come from somewhere and I can tell they are accurate. We love food, we love dress nicely, we love our family time and we are dramatic and passionate about our interests. And yes, as a person living abroad, I can now say that we are loud! Doesn't matter which part of Italy you're coming from, if you are abroad and there is a group of Italians around you will hear them! (but Spanish too though lol)
Italians are cooler than the Spanish, imho. ;)
Michael McCabe but spanish people are more open minded and not so religious like italians
@@ravincra5266 yes I think you're right. Spanish people are way more open minded. I don't know about religion but maybe they can just separate faith from anything else, here we still follow the silent rules of the Catholic church.
I think (being loud) it's part of Mediterranean heritage, I've known some Turkish,Italian, Spanish, Moroccan and Tunisian. and they are all loud.
they're so likeable, not saying every one of them, but when you find a group of fun Italians they're the best in the world. They embrace life and make sweet love to it, then cook and bring it breakfast in bed, thats why so many countries have a fondness for Italy and italians, don't ever stop being warm! greetings from Colombia
I used to like the Italian culture but not really anymore because I feel like it’s overrated. I like the more underrated cultures that don’t get as much attention as the Italians.
@@LiyahRochelle and the medal for the stupidest answer ever goes to..
@@TheSpynerd Haha, at least I get a medal, so thanks 😉💁♀️. Let me guess🤔, you’re Italian?? Because I notice since Italy is liked by many, whenever someone has a different opinion about Italy that doesn’t fit the Agenda, you guys get SO offended and butthurt over it. People are allowed to have different opinions, get over it. It’s not like my opinion is going to stop people from going to Italy so I don’t why you are so angry.
@@LiyahRochelle I'm not angry 😂 .. I'm just pointing to your nonsense answer. The culture isn't overrated. Learn some history.
@@TheSpynerd Okay, well no need to be offended then + I worded that comment from three months ago wrong. When I said the culture is overrated I meant Italy as a country-culture and people aside. But any country that is in the top 10 (or top 5) of the Most-Visited Countries In the World are overrated such as The U.S and France... don’t even get me started on how overrated The U.S is. Been before, nice place especially New York and California but the Country is too overhyped in my opinion. I do know my history and I’m aware of Italy’s part in the World today.
Iv never met one Italian person with a bad vibe!!! Love them
I absolutely love the italians. As a southern European myself (portuguese) I find them to be the most relatable. I worked at the airport in the past and managed a lot of flights to Italy and in spite of their English being quite bad (Sorry, but true) more than once I was asked to speak portuguese slowly and with the gestures we would always understand each other. Always willing to meet halfway and adaptable, from my perspective. ☺
I think it would be great if you could get some of the older generation of Italians (and other countries) just to see some variety with the young and the old and the different opinions
We are starting a series featuring 3 generations so this came right on time ;)

Italians are like Middle Eastern people in foods and culture.
@@batloulsiblani3259 Food? Do you make lasagne alla bolognese, cannelloni ricotta e spinaci, pizzoccheri della valtellina, risotto alla pescatora o alla milanese, ecc.. People who don't know Italy think we are just pasta and pizza, we are much more!
Culture? Do you celebrate Christian holidays: Christmas, Easter, All Saint's Day, ecc..? Do you celebrate, dress yourself at the weedings and make parties like you do? (these are just a few examples) There's an abyss between European culture and middles eastern culture
@@13Drew88 what she meant by food and culture is that middle eastern people LOVE their food, always have food during social gatherings, they are also loud and move their hands a lot when talking to express themselves, celebrate religious holidays, YES to dressing up. I live in a western country, when I went to an arab country and wore my pyjamas out I was looked at a lot because they dress up nicely. etc. she doesn't mean that middle eastern foods and culture is a copy paste of the Italian. Also, not EVERY middle eastern person is muslims. don't get the two mixed up.
@@sparkle9964 not even that! It's pretty clear that you both have never been in Italy and you talk without knowing and with stereotypes. You have to know there is a distinct social difference between northen and southern Italy. People from the north are definitely more quite, discreet, and polite, they don't think all day about food and don't spend all the energy and time on making food, they are more focused on work, they don't gather with a lot of other friends to eat all together on a daily basis but only on special events, they are definitely not "hot people", they are quite, respectful, sober, have manners, have a smooth accent so they are more "europeans" like austrians, germans, dutchmen, whereas souhern italian people are more compliants to your stereotype of italians you have: they are more outgoing, social, talk loud, make a lot of hand gestures, think and spend more time on making food and inviting friends, more stuck to the traditions, ecc... but even then they are still italians and not similar to other cultures like arabics, come on!. You can tell instead that they are more like spaniards or geeks, that would make more sense. So, Italy is the most diverse Country in the world, you can never tell how an italian may look like, think like and act like, it basically depends on where he comes from!
I really love Italians. They are more warm and friendly compared to Western/Central European people.
:’))

And I’m VERY British😊

You mean "cannot help but love these people?"
Italian Australian here and yeah American italian food shouldn't be confused with real italian food 🇮🇹
Barbieri? Do you have relatives in Canada at all?
@@gu3sswh075 Barbieri is a very popular Italian surname so I doubt it
Shouldn’t be confused but I dislike when Italian American food gets put down! It’s good too.
When I studied abroad I used to hangout with a bunch of Italians, they would always start discussing about food out of nothing, no matter if it was after dinner, or if we were having dinner together, they always took time with that topic, in a way that I would often find a bit annoying. But they indeed make excellent food.
Something I really appreciate about italians is the ability to be constantly stereotyped and still not get offended about it, and actually being able to make fun of themselves instead :)

The world owes Italy eternal gratitude. The best architects, painters, sculptors, and engineers are all from Italy. They have created things that no other nation on the planet can rival and never will - because they lack the kind of imagination that runs through Italian blood. 5:00 In Egypt when you do that with the hands it means "wait" or "slow down".
And if you do it while touching your chin it means "you'll see" like "I'll show you" or "I'll get my revenge some day".
5:10 That gesture with arms in Egypt would mean "whatever" or "forget it", or "that was something from the past".
5:23 With rolling your arms/hands like that it means "go on" or "continue", or "get to the conclusion, I'm in a hurry".
I guess we also speak with our hands, but the gestures have different meanings.
