- I am pretty much RDS guy now that I am older. I can still shoot irons with my new glasses I just choose not to, outside of what we review on the channel.
I had this B9R cut by Dual Hammer, out of California, because I needed a RDS fitment pistol for our Safariland RDS 5' Single stack holster mods. Using the B9r was the most affordable way to her this done. And I had seen some of their work on IG.
if you need slide work do not hesitate to contact these guys.

RDR GEAR, This is great! I liked it and subscribed!
Great video as always. I've been considering a steel framed 9mm Commander to go with my alloy framed Dan Wesson Valkyrie 9mm Commander. The Tisas 1911's look and feel really nice for the money, the Carry B9 model is at the top of my list. My DW has the Chambers Custom RDMS which doesn't require suppressor height sights and I plan to do the same with the B9.
Got a tisas it’s pretty rock solid great trigger thanks for another great vid 👊
was looking at double stack but since I live in 10 rd mag cap state, this may be the one!
👍👍
Very cool. 🔥🇺🇸
Looks wise, add a pair of VZ Alien G10 grips, a stainless barrel bushing, and a Trijicon front night sight, and you practically have a Springfield 1911 Operator clone. Depending on where you shop, those upgrades are worth an extra $200+ and still $300-400 cheaper…
From a quality perspective, since you’ve owned Springfield and Tisas, is the difference in quality noticeable?
Almost the exact same set up I want. Only change I would want is Tisas to release their railed duty style in .38 Super.
Yeah that’s probably not going to happen. 38 super is pretty much retired outside of the competition space
@@rdrgear Still more alive than the .45GAP....😆
@@BrianKern2121 this is true. lol man the old 45gap. I do think the gap out lived the 45gi I could be wrong lol.
Ironically they do make a chrome government and commander model that comes with both a .38 super and 9mm barrel...so they are capable of doing it.
@@gunzablazin01 I do want their chrome Government model so I can add Aztec Calander silver grips for that true Vaquiro vibe.
I wish the DG switch was durable. I've killed 3.
How have you killed them? I would not use them personally anymore but it was a cool add on for this one.
@rdrgear The rubber wears down over the actual metal pressure switch exposing it eventually. Beyond the immediate snag annoyance eventually it would be inconsistent in activating or just quit entirely. On the actual use side i can say for ME they're a lot lot more AD prone. I really wanted to like them.
@@LumpyinAZ agreed I have seen the same issues. With specific holsters. When I used to used to run these back in the day. I would electrical tap and pin the activation bar to the trigger gaurd. This was a great way to extend the life. Were you using Safariland holsters or kydex holsters? Appreciate the watch and comment 🤙
I was unsubscribed….resubscribed.
Appreciate you.
Sir, what plate did you use and where do I get it? In comms with dual hammer to get a SA operator milled.
