This video is about contacting your professors before applying for GKS-G. It plays a crucial role in making your profile stand out more with the rest of the applicants if you get an acceptance letter from your expected professor. I have shared my own email template here as a reference for you to design your own email. Please be careful while attaching your CV and Cover Letter in the email. Also, be mindful that you look as humble and professional as possible. Please be patient and don’t send frequent reminder mail to your professors. You should wait for at least a week or 10 days before sending the reminder mail. Sending you good luck and positivity for your application!!! 🍀💫🫶🏻🧚🏼♀️🤗💕✨

The contacting professor is for STEM students right. I am from bussiness background so, even if I contacted professor. What should I mention like my abilities and skills and how much I am capable for the scholarship something like that. Do let me know because I am sending out the package for university track before the deadline 31st March 2024. So it would be very helpful if you reply because when I researched that why most of the students contact is because for lab. And I am from a bussiness background and applying for masters in business only.
It doesn’t matter. I know people who are from fashion and design background and they have still contacted professors and even got response from them. You can’t mention in the first mail about how you are capable of scholarship or not. You can mention that you want to learn under them about a certain area of study and how you can be beneficial for their work as well.
But I don’t think it’s the right time to contact professors when it’s already close enough to the deadlines. Rest sending out the CV and cover letter can work for any other field of study too. It just depends on how well you can connect your past work, future interests with professors work and field of interest.

@@noorfatima4238 Yes you can mention about their work if that inspired you to apply for the program and attach the acceptance letter at the top of all your extracurricular activities certificates. It will help you if you apply via University track.

My cgpa is in grade 10 scale. How to convert it to point 4 scale? Is it compulsory to make the conversion from University itself or can we fo the conversion from a website? I am confuse.
You can use scholaro website to convert your grades. Make a word document and paste all the conversions of all the semesters. Send it to your college and request them to give it to you on college letter head. Get it signed and stamp by your principal and submit the original one with other documents.

I am going to apply for undergraduate this year and in my documents there a slight mistake in my mother's name as I am going to submit my mother's voter ID card as her Proof of citizenship but her name in my 12th marksheet is different from as voter ID cart should I have to fix it or not ???

I want to apply for GKS Undergraduate but I don't have Voter ID card of my parents and they also don't have it, so what to do
You still have a lot of time. You can make your own passport and your parent’s too. Same goes for voter Id try to look up online you will find plenty of info on the process.

Is it mandatory to contact professors for embassy track??I know I'm pretty late to ask this, but I was concerned about it, the universities are silent and I'm worried that it might be because of my silence..
In embassy track it’s not necessary to contact them. Mostly students from embassy track don’t contact professors.

You can convert your grades online on Scholaro website. Create a word file that mentions all your semester subjects, grades, and their credits. Calculate the average converted GPA and get it on your college letter head with your principal’s sign and stamp. It will work. Good luck!🍀🙌🏼

For undergraduate course you don’t need to mail the professor. It’s not necessary. You can directly apply for the scholarship.

For undergraduate students it’s a bit difficult as you will not be doing any thesis related work in your Bachelors. It’s okay for them to not to contact professors. 🤗💕✨

I don’t think you can continue from a degree of your country and then start in another country. At least not with GKS. Maybe you can write to the professor or university that you’re interested in and ask more on this scenario. Good luck!🍀

Just remove the GKS part and mention the fall or spring semester that you will be joining.

If you have grades above 80% you are eligible to apply. GKS guidelines doesn’t say anything about boards that’s why all board students can apply as per my knowledge. Grade matters not board. Good luck!🍀🙌🏼

I don’t think there are any professor who offers scholarships for UG students. Because they don’t have much experience, knowledge and skills that are useful for professors. 😊

Depends on your major. But choosing a regional one is more advantageous than choosing general one.

Did you ask her for an acceptance letter?

Hi! For embassy track if you contact your professors from 3 different universities and somehow able to get acceptance letter from all of them, or even from anyone and then apply to all three universities then it won’t give a good impression to your profile and could be disadvantageous to your application. Mostly if people get acceptance letter from any professor they just apply via university track and it helps them a lot.

Not necessarily. If your professor asks you can send them again. You can just mention as I mentioned in the video.
I mailed to a professor on last month and sent up a follow up mail once but still I did not get a reply. Should I consider it as no or can I send another follow up mail? I'm confused whether to contact another professor from the same university?
I would not suggest sending another follow-up mail. But you can contact other professors from same university and from other universities too.
