D is capable of effectively both reading & writing the book Alucard calls his reality, in realtime.

I think people are missing that Alucard's ability gained from Schrodinger is still fundamentally within "reality". He exists & does not exist at the same time, within reality. D is outside of & beyond reality, & he possesses the ability to alter the fabric of reality. The Death Battle guys would be able to articulate better, but D's Akashic abilities are superior to Alucard's in every way because D is unbound from the record itself. D is the writer, not words on a page. Alucard will never be anything except words (and the spaces around them), always on the page. D could just burn the book.
Isn't Alucard omnipresent? Doesn't this mean, he's also presentin other realities?
@@mineduggery3309 he's present within all reality, which is the metaphorical equivalent to being present within the words/spaces on all the pages of all the books. D is the metaphorical reader/writer of all books. Alucard's abilities are not as well-defined, but I think my analogy is relatively accurate.

I don’t remember, so if in his lore there’s only one reality the omnipresence ends in the boundaries of his reality. (Reality is not equal to universe by the way).

Nah, that glove has far to many unknowns to stamp a W on it for D. A pocket dimension does not imply it could not be fractured or collapsed and ultimately escaped by an entity of sufficient power. We see pocket dimensions overcome frequently in various anime/manga and movies. It's unfair to assume Alucard wouldn't be able to overcome that with only in-verse examples. We would need to see something similar in Alucards verse to make that leap IMO>
Even without Left Hand, D is the perfected creation of a meta-god, designed to manipulate reality, while being removed from that reality. Alucard has no way to defeat the power of all existence. D is reading & writing the book in real time. Alucard is on the pages of that book. It is a matter of scale. D from the anime is a nerfed version of D from the books. D from the books may very well be the most objectively overpowered hero in all of literature.

I love both character but I like D more. Because of Schrödinger Alucard is a quantum being. He cannot die as long as he believes he is not dead. That’s why he is everywhere and nowhere at once.

Novel D is far above uni plus in my opinion,if we are to assume Ds verse has multiple realities which it does being above the akashic records as a low ball puts him into to multi-outer as dreams are considered alt realities

The casull is not a Magnum 454 is it's own caliber the jackal on the other hand is above a magnum it shoots a 899gr bullet no hand gun can shoot that big of a round
The .454 Casull is basically a Magnumized .45 Colt in real life. Dick Casull experimented with hotrodding the .45 Colt, and did with it what Elmer Keith did with the .44 Special when he created the .44 Magnum. In the process, he made a round with a lot more power, and recoil, than a .44 Magnum.
i think u forgot the issue of the fact that alucard can no longer be killed after gaining his omnipresence. like when Schrodinger was murdered at the meeting with the queen, and then his body was just gone. alucard has that ability too. its not just fast travel. he can essentially write and rewrite himself out of and back into existence. even after being killed, repeatedly. if anything knowing that, i'd say even if he cant beat D, theres no way he can lose either. its just an endless stalemate
Due to Alucard "Existing & Not Existing" at a given moment, D could potentially remove half of the equation (Existing), to leave Alucard with the remainder (Not Existing). Alucard is still bound, to some extent, by the alternating dynamic within reality. D's position outside of the chain of existence/non-existence, as well as his ability to understand & restructure the very fabric of reality, could potentially make this task trivial (depending on the "scale" of reality).
Also D hand just sends you to pocket dimension, what that do if he be wherever he wants, he would just reappear immediately

@JordoValentino when the hand consumes is it instant and undodgeable? Because alucards ability is done with a thought so potentially just come in and out of existence completely negating any process of consuming.
@@MrChasecoats it is powerful enough to catch & consume FTL entities, so it is faster than instant. It has power that is beyond calculation, so I'd assume it edges Alucard out the majority of the time. After reading the books, D is maybe the most objectively powerful hero in all literature. That's the level of power. Makes Sauron look like a lawn gnome.

If it's anime D, Alucard probably defeats him. If it's novel D, Alucard gets obliterated, regardless of his omnipotence, before he even realizes what happened.

Both of Alucard's Semi Auto Pistols are based on John M. Browning's M-1911 design, which doesn't even weigh a pound. If a Desert Eagle chambered in the largest caliber that Magnum Research offers which is .50 AE (Action Express), only weighs up to a few pounds. Then it's safe to say that Alucard's SemiAuto Pistol the Jackal wouldn't really weigh that much more. Considering the Helsing Organization cash index available to them and Walter's weapons design expertise, it's safe to assume the Jackal isn't entirely made of Steel. More the Jackal is made from very expensive super strong and light Metals. So, the Jackal may be chambered in .454 Casuell, it more likely weighs in the 8 to 12 pounds mark, heavy but by no means too heavy for a normal Person to wield. A normal Person firing the Jackal the way Alucard does is impossible because of the Recoil of the .454 Casuell Cartridge. The 13mm Behemoth that is Alucard's other Gun is a whole nother ball game, hell it's in a league of it's own. Still wouldn't weigh as much in Reality as the Manga or Anime says it weighs though. Still would weigh alot and the Recoil makes it beyond impractical. Still an awesome piece of handheld Artillery.
Totally. The Jackal is basically a Wildey Magnum pistol customized to look a bit different. More weight on the front end, which Alucard wouldn't care about.

Manga/Book D would definitely win. Nothing in Alucard's arsenal would be able to measure up to someone of D's power. If we were just talking about the anime it would be a much more even match up.

Alucard is remarkably powerful with abilities that make him a significant threat to be feared. Not to mention he has the Baskerville
However, D at base power alone is a universal threat that breaks time and space itself, and he is faster than light.
And that is without lefty. With lefty, Alucard gets destroyed before the fight even has a chance to begin. You gotta keep in mind, D has already faced enemies on par with and stronger than Alucard and ended those fights swiftly.
Alucard also tends to be very cocky and throws caution to the wind far too often. Not something you want to do around D.

Soon as D is buried its over! With being no where and everywhere all he has to do is keep moving till D is buried. And it's not every 5 years vampire D can only handle so much sun him and his hand weaken quicker the more he's out in sunlight, Alucard does not need to stop and with the nazi he swallowed he could hunt all day where D could not. But I did like the close comparison I love em both and was actually told D was a dependent of Alucard which would have to be tru he is the son of the vampire king. That's assuming that its the version of D who doesn't have akashic abilities? As soon as he does, he writes Alucard off no matter where he traverses in what part of reality, Alucard loses. I was surprised because only today I realized that D is much more powerful than what the movies portray him to be. I always thought Alucard mops him for several years now, damn!

I feel how this match up was presented was (if not a lot) a little bias, you took EVERY interpretation of D in the manga and movies and practically only took the Anime Alucard, I feel like it would be fairer if we set the ground rules of either 1. Animated interpretations only, Or 2. Only Canon interpretations.
