It's based on Goku's spirit ball (where Goku takes all the ki from Earth), which represents the spirit of all the inhabitants of the Earth - fighting or defending together against a common enemy and in this way the Clover Kingdom in the form of Asta is defending/fighting against the devils

Ryu mentions to Asta that a man of “Ashen Hair” (astas hair color) was able to split the skies with his Zetten. Right after this, Asta meets and trains with the Ryuzen 7 and there is an entire page or two dedicated to one of the female Ryuzen asking Asta about his hair color and if it’s natural.
