This song reminds me of my older sister. She loved Amy Lee and always sang this song around the house. She got liver cancer a few years ago and we lost touch with each other. I hope she's still around singing this song, cuz her voice is just as beautiful as yours. đ

Painfully nostalgic is a perfect description. I have a lump in my throat just looking at the title because it reminds me of an event that is the reason why I've been alone for the last 13 years. I'm not a guy who is ashamed of showing emotions, but I would be ashamed if anyone would see what this song does to me. And you sing it so well!

Well hell. This has me in tears too. For a couple reasons. 1. The husband of a friend of my ex wife's died tragically (like kidnapped and killed, tragically) in Saudi Arabia, and this was played at his funeral. We were all in tears. And B. Has me thinking of my ex wife. We were not meant for each other, and divorce was the correct decision. But, it didn't all suck, ya know? It wasn't all bad. And your beautiful cover has me remembering some of that.

"Bring me to life" holds a special place in my heart because it's literally the very first song I ever heard from Evanescence, it was from the marvel movie daredevil with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. Second to that is "my immortal", not only because of how emotionally powerful the lyrics are but also because Amy Lee wrote the song for her sister who died of an illness when she was a child, and there are two versions of it, each version beautifully powerful and emotional in their own way.

Oh my god, Iâve listened to many covers of this song; yours is the best Iâve heard. So many singers to try to add too much to this song. Granted, they still sound amazing but for my immortal it doesnât fit most of the time. You stayed true to the song, and honestly your voice reminds me so much of Amy Leeâs. You kept it soft, sorrowful, and incredibly angelic. I would love to see you add in a piano at some point if youâre willing to put out another cover of this.
